The UNSC would fit more with the NC with weapon and armor design I would think.

The standard TR medic rifle with any zoom optic is godlike.

Light Assault and Engineer get carbines as default. Medics get an assault rifle as default.

I wished they follow through with the plans to give heavy assaults assault rifles and carbines. That would have been boss.
are trials not working right now? I'm trying to try the burst medic assult rifle but the button just makes a noise and does nothing
God damn it, I just landed square on some dumbass liberator that was just hovering in place with my drop pod and it didn't even scratch it. I practically gave them a free kill.

Air doesn't need to hide because it can retreat freely, infantry and armor can't. Their inability to take cover is meaningless because their cover is literally every area that is not where they're being shot. If turrets being worth a damn means air can't charge into areas full of them, well, that's sort of the entire fucking point of a turret. Infantry can't freely charge a MANA turret either, nor can tanks just run at a Phalanx.
