Most likely a last-second slow passover, I can't imagine anyone really landing a jet on any of the points and have room to take off again. I just cant fly Jets in bf3, but I do great with the Reaver. The SOFLAM would lock on to planes automatically and then you could just shoot your laser guided shells in your tank or just spam your stingers/javelins away and what not and they couldn't flare out of it because it was laser marked. They also thought about the brilliant idea of making shells and rockets instantly do more damage when they're following a laser instead of heat-seeking for whatever fucking stupid reason so heat-seekers would take several to kill and one laser-seeking would instantly kill air vehicles.

The javelin does more damage because its a bigger rocket. Also there was a large patch for battlefield today which make anti-air much more effective.

Planetside 2 facebook page posted a thing about a beta key giveaway IGN is doing. Saw that it was only posted 30 seconds ago so I was excited and knew I could get one. Go to the page, log in, oh fucking god dammit, IGN Prime only. That's pretty lame, making people pay to get a beta key. So much disappointment.

I wish they would just make the beta open already, I don't see any reason as to why they aren't.

Anyone medicore or above that skill level, will be able to kill 1-3 infantry soldiers in 1 flyby. It's not hard and it's even easier in last patch.

The game in it's current state is super unfinished. If I recall correctly, open betas are more for debugging than implementing new features.

Can someone remind me the file where you can edit the render distance, and it's directory?

We should have just one big steam group, with all the outfit leaders as mods, so they can use it to post announcements. We may not be in the same outfit, but we can at least be organized that way. Then we could stage battles between the two facepunch factions on a server and cool stuff like that.

There should be a keybinding section for aircraft. I want to roll and pitch with wasd but then I cant use other vehicles without changing the bindings again. Apparently the army doesnt give you anymore.[/QUOTE] Try using the weapon terminals, when you click on the nade slot, it will show the available types of grenade (just 1 for now), and a resupply button. Note: it costs resource. Maximum stock is 40.
