Whenever i click play after choosing my character the game stops responding, but the music carries on in the background and i can still move the PS2 mouse cursor?

Hmm, when I get into combat the game hitches to the point the game becomes unplayable... Just, it'll freeze for up to a second at a time and then resume, by which point I might have died.

How to you place the mobile spawn beacon as a squad leader?

I was piloting a galaxy and there was a vanu flying c thing behind me, im carrying my whole squad with me and all the seats are full in the aircraft. I try to do a barrel roll in the damn thing end up smashing my aircraft into the vanu aircraft. All of us died. Finial score of that battle was 1 vanu for 14 TR :v: [editline]26th August 2012[/editline] also what server are we all going to be playing on?

i played it was laggy as all hell, i jumped into a dropship, and we got shot down by NC because i couldn't shoot then the game crashed and now the servers are down for the day?

But god damn, was that an awesome battle. The Max's are overpowered, and it degraded to rushing the teleporters, hoping you'd be able to kill some dirty VS before you died. However, as expected, the NC were nowhere to be seen. The Grief lock is broken, though. It's impossible not to TK in those types of battles.

played ps2 beta on my friends computer 60fps high graphs

They said it'll be open from 6AM to 10PM PDT, so why are they not open?

I use the US.

After spamming planet side 2 twitter all day i ended up with 3 keys (they piled up because i did not check my private msg's) my friends will be happy now. also on a side note i sent them a picture of a donkey... it worked

I know that feel though, I have my viewdistance set to 600 and my resolution at 1680x1050 even though I have a 1920x1200 res monitor just so I can play the game.

I noticed a difference when switching from low to medium. It's just shitty optimization on SOE's part.

killer whats your setup?

I can't pull 60 FPS on my laptop but it's definitely playable, say 20-30 FPS during fights, at high settings, but not full-res unfortunately. I might give it a shot on my desktop, but I kind of want to get used to the laptop since I won't have my desktop when I'm in my dorm in about a week's time.

So, are the servers down now, or what? I mean, I'm going out for a few hours... can I expect to *finally* play planetside when i get back?

think its about 4-5 hours till servers are up any one got better eta ?
