for stuff like c4 and bandoleer yeah it's pretty obvious, but the stuff i actually need to know the gameplay effect of seems to be lacking those critical descriptions.

How long does a weapon lock last for? It has been like 2 hours now and I still can't shoot anything, the best I can do is transport people with a galaxy.
Is anyone seeing much ground combat? I'm on East 2 and almost everything I'm seeing is air-air, scratch the bio domes.
Oh wow, weapon lock lasts for several hours? Now I really feel sorry for people who got it from shooting out of a massive clump of team mates during a firefight
My weapon locks have lasted like 5 minutes the first time, then 30 minutes the second time.
I think it's dependant on the severity of your crimes.
Hell earlier I teamkilled 3 piloted prowlers in the WG and didn't even get locked. (they were blocking the exit).
Does anyone know how the Engineer Deconstructor work? Is it like a RPG which heals friendly vehicle and damage enemy vehicle?
They really need to give pilots more time to exit the map boundaries, or at least extend the playable areas around warp gates . I would spawn a liberator at a warp gate and it wont let you control it for a few seconds, which always makes me end up flying into the map boundary. The liberator being the fat bastard it is, takes forever just to turn the fucker around and I always end up exploding because of it.
So I just found out about the Prowler's "Anchor" mode. Deployed with "B" by default, it seriously decreases the reload timer on the Prowler's gun allowing you a devastating fire rate. With an engineer backing me up I was able to mow down several magriders and lightnings before my tank finally ate it.
Logged in as NC, spawned in the TR spawn point at Snake Ravine, nowhere near friendly territory. Had a fun little sneaky killstreak going, killed a guy on a Flash. Flash keeps going at full speed and kills me.
I just had an insane 5 hour battle for ONE base. Started off JUST me as a infiltrator, picking off some random infantry, to a full blown battle of the main base. Capturing, then defending it. We lost in the end but it was pretty fun.

Its way too easy to runover shitlorde teammates with a vanguard. Nobody watches where the fuck they walk and they absolutely love to sit RIGHT BEHIND the vanguard that is taking fire from 3 prowlers, I shouldn't get punished for their idiocy, its a tank, it ain't got fucking rear view mirrors.

I drive tanks alot.
Sure I do run over the occasional idiot. And yes I have got weapon lock once for magmowing before, but if you're constantly getting weapon lock while playing perhaps the problem is with your driving.

I tend to constantly press T and take a quick look around before moving forwards or backwards. It's not hard to look where you are going, even while taking heavy fire.

Ehm, it works fine.
You need to kill several people before it gets into effect.
I drove tanks several times, even at places where there was infantry all over the place. Had to slam in the breaks constantly.
And mirrors? It's called the [B]minimap[/B]. See those blue triangles? That's your team members! If you see one behind your tank do not go into reverse.

I have the upgrade for reduced damage from small arms fire on my Scythe.
I find it funny when people try to shoot me down with an infantry weapon Max, or a turret or just a normal infantry weapon.
Sure, it does hurt a lot without the upgrade, but with the upgrade I just turn around and fire away my missiles.
Okay, everything is expensive and I'm terran. Is there something I should buy straight away before I consider buying anything else?
I'm thinking of buying the lightning's sky guard or the mosquito's hellfire rockets; I'll probably go for the rockets.
Only time I ever play a larger role other than Infiltrator is if I see we need it. That's when I'll change to heavy assault or Combat Engie. Or maybe drive in some heavy armour to lend fire support.
I prefer playing a smaller role. Not sure why. Usually I prefer to be the biggest baddest son of a gun out there but with this. For some reason I get a strange sense of enjoyment from just being a lone Infiltrator, going deep into enemy territory and doing small bits and pieces to aid in the long run.

Both are good choices.
What do you prefer more? Flying or staying on the ground?
What's the difference between the two medkit items? I understand one is instant and the other is gradual, but are there any other differences?
I love when MBTs underestimate Lightnings with AP rounds. They just park there and take your shots, not even bothering to turn their weak point away from you. I guess they think Lightnings are free kills.

What I don't particularly like is that Sunderers will not be an automatic ammo resupply anymore, which means there's gonna be a lot of ammo shortages out in the field.

Well that's the thing, for either to be a spawn point they'll need to be certed into. So yeah we'll be seeing more Sunderers, but not all will be spawns.

Well this whole Galaxy nerf is bad for me, and not because I spawn on Galaxy's often. I like sitting on a hill a good distance away from them while they're deployed and headshoting the troops as they spawn.
Nothing calms the nerves quite like knowing you're the downfall of a Galaxy because the engineers can't stay alive long enough to heal the thing.
Seriously considering buying this Alpha Squad thing, can't be arsed waiting around for beta and the rest of the benefits seem nice enough
