Does anyone have any tips on flying the fighters and other aircraft without crashing them of epicly failing with them? I have not even managed to take a kill with one of them yet as I crash into everything or get owned by other pilots.

Since the patch I can't see any friendlies on the minimap/map. Is that an option and I missed something or is it a bug?

Game's pretty much unplayable right now because they keep restarting the servers, which resets the map and disconnects like everyone

Also a friendly Vanguard rammed my Lightning from behind and exploded. Thankfully players who die inside vehicles can now be revived, so I revived him (which, by the way takes longer and doesn't bring them back at full health) and he said my lightning was invisible until he hit it. SCUs have a new model (they look like generators instead of computer consoles), take longer to repair, and have some robotic voice telling you when it's functional or destroyed. That explains it. EDIT: Also they forgot to fix lockout timers.

It's like the AVAST chick saying "VIRUS DATABASE HAS BEEN UPDATED". EDIT: Oh and the influence changes are in (i.e influence affects how quickly ticket bar fills, not how many ticket bars are needed), and influence is displayed right above the ticket bars. No more constantly checking the map to make sure outlying bases haven't flipped.

They're also giving the carbine to all the classes as a basic weapon. I guess it makes sense, since the LMG and Heavy Assault weapons were too similar.

Higby was more interested in seeing how well it played out with the new class weapons than any solid long term plans. Like with the sanc rotations.
I like the idea actually. I just hope they don't weaken the carbine just because it is an all-class weapon. I rather like the TR carbine.
They're also reducing the average engagement ranges, which means nerfing stuff like no more LMG burst shooting Infiltrators dead at 200 meters anymore :C I imagine they'll still keep the carbine the premier short-medium ranged non specialised weapon. With the LMG becoming a more 'supportive' weapon rather than a decent all-rounder with 100 rounds mag as it is currently.

Not sure how I feel about this. I kinda liked the way guns were effective up to large ranges, meant that firefights were much more intense and long ranged.
i don't even feel like the engagement ranges on the guns are that long atall honestly, the recoil becomes a bitch as-is. (bar the bolt driver) Speaking of which, i can't wait to see what they do for the VS infiltrator.
