This is something I'd LOVE Vanu to have.
Okay, okay. I'm a huge Halo fan and such, but.
What we really need is something more to indicate that this is a Sci-Fi weapon.. Right now it's just like an ordinary weapon, except that it shoots out blue stuff. Boring.
Truth be told, I'm quite disappointed in Vanu technology.
The only thing that says technology is the Magrider since it's hovering, the Scythe has a little but too due to the effects and hovering ability but the rest? Not particularly.

They look cool. But they're still normal weapons but with fancy weapon animations.
But as I said before, if I was going to change each faction's design philosophy then I would keep the TR as the more recognisable military faction, make the NC more rebelling miners and industrialists with weapons closer to those found in Deadspace and I would make the Vanu more experimental. And throw in more asymmetrical balance with different classes for each faction.
So it plays more like a three way Quake Wars than battlefield.

Vanu weapons remind me of Covenant weapons but with a more human, earthly silhouette. Having them like Promethean weapons would seem kinda... out of place in the Planetside universe. It's a bit too advanced imo.
