No, he reckons that when he went to patch he put in a different patchlist/realmlist and therefore got a different patch. Northshire Abbey isn't there and most of the bush cards in the vineyard are gone. The front gates of Northshire have gone and been replaced with mountains, and the waterfall doesn't have water flowing and is now a crack and the way to get out of Northshire. I've asked him for pictures and he just said "i'll see what i can do".
If this patch was from a private server with a customized world then maybe he's telling the truth, I still say he's bullshitting else he wouldn't be so afraid to give you pictures.

So, you level up through 1-57, then you hit 58. Now comes the thing that has me baffled, then you use The Dark Portal to travel 20 years back in time to Outland, while all forces where pushing there.
Then you hit 68, travel back to the present, then take a time traveling zeppelin/boat to Northrend when all the forces where [U]there[/U].
Finally, you hit 80. You travel back to the present to fight Deathwing in azeroth.
Also, you can travel, and chat, back and forth in time seemingly, once you have been to the eras at least once.
I realise WoW's time flow has always been... "edgy", but I think this is kind of taking it to a new level :P
Final, kind of unrelated note: there is a quest in Sholozar Basin, which leads you to Un'goro, through a portal. I wonder if they will change that quest?

Hunter can be fun, im hoping to get a race chance when cataclysm from Blood Elf Huntard to maybe human or undead.

Going to officially quit raiding with my guild (and probably WoW altogether) today. After raiding 20+ hours a week every week for two months I've just gotten really sick of ICC. I don't see how hardcore raiders can raid so much without getting sick of it.

I love raiding 5 nights a week back in ulduar hard modes as relam #1.
and weekends were 10 man. so I guess it was 6/7 days a week.

2. He got a custom patch for Cata (which is most likely also bullshit)

Fire until you can unlock Arcane barrage at I think 60, then switch to Arcane

Pyroblast is a bit useless without hotstreak so feel free to move that unless you're strapped on cash for gold. I'd definitely put my next points into hotstreak. Oh and you'll be heading into the blackrock instances too, a bit of fire resistance in there so maybe you'll be hitting frostbolt now and then, still managed to stay fire and top dps though myself. For aoe pulls try Lamestrike + Blizzard on trashpulls of 3+ else just fireball shit down, also try to cast lamestrike predictively so you don't waste time getting off the 2sec cast while everyone else is burning stuff down.
I levelled as fire all the way to 61, I hit a bit of a wall in hellfire as the mobs mostly have fire resistance or immunity :( so i went frost up till 68 at which point i went lolcane.

if you're leveling via the dungeon finder go prot yeah.
Main thing would be a sheild and speccing in the prot tree
Yeah I am lvling mostly through the dungeon finder, but I want to be able to kick some horde ass aswell, as I'm on a pvp server a specc which would allow me to pvp a little aswell would be good.
