It's cause of them bombs they can make no? I know alot of [I]rogues[/I] who do engineering just for the bombs. Are they really that much of a DPS-increase?

Or it's cause of the choppah as poster above said.
When I tried adding them to my Rogue's rotation it was an increase of around 25 DPS, not worth it imo but I guess if you're in a HaRdKoRe guild then it might be. Really the extra AP/STR/AGI/Whateverthefuck from the Dragon's Eye and the ring enchants is much more worth it imo.

would it be a good idea to get back into the now or wait until the new expansion pack? I want to get back into the game, even though I'll casually play, and I'm not sure whether or not to begin again asap.
Well if you get into the game now or atleast a few weeks before the expansion, you might experience the pre-Cataclysm event whenever that happens. The pre-WotLK event was pretty fun. :)
I was there for the pre-WotLK event, was fun.
