So I'm level 33 now, been playing as Feral but it's pretty boring, plus I already leveled a rogue before. I'm thinking of leveling as balance, yes/no?
Yes, I was in the same situation at the same time funnily enough, had a rogue then leveled druid as feral to about 40, got bored respecced balance, had a cakewalk from there. Do it.

Well I mean, that's just when I got bored of it, you should be able to spec prior to that too, the BoA stuff is handy if you can get it, ZF boosts are great as well for balance gear.
I just respecced feral from resto, when i'm level 80 though i'm going balance.
I fucking loved leveling as a boomkin. You can pretty much entangle everything and kill it before it gets to you. I never tried feral, though, so I don't have anything to compare it to.
I love being a boomkin, but in dungeons i find it hard to sustain my mana, so i went for resto. I just respecced feral and it's taking the piss because i'm shit at tanking in bear form. And i don't want to just do cat form because it will take 20 minutes to find a dungeon. :sigh:
I don't remember what order you get bear abilities but I do know at 80 bear tanking is the easiest tanking that still requires doing things (lolpaladin).
Don't worry too much now, leveling while tanking is actually a good idea because most players expectations should be pretty low. You will occasionally get the altoholic who has probably had the chance to run a certain instance a dozen times but fuck him, you are the tank.
Leveling feral is the absolute fastest way to level (Energy resource and healing yourself for doing crits is awesome), but balance has become a quick second. Moonkin form is actually one of the best level 41 point talents because of the regen it gives you from critting, enabling you to quest and kill that much more effectively.
They don't have the nickname "Oomkin" for no reason.
