Default one is all you need IMHO, maybe the ability to make it a bit taller
Talented is a fantastic addon, it lets you import talent trees directly from WoWhead's talent editor.

Only the new player can give levels.
Only 1 level per every 2 level the new player gets.

Wrong. The new player can grant the veteran 1 level per 2 level he gets, not the other way around. I'm currently RaFing 2 other accounts and thats how it works.
the new player can also only grant levels to chars from the veterans account as long as that char is lower level then the new players char.
