You thought stamina was a good gem for a hunter, you used a stamina trinket, you think that just because you're "gearing up" you don't need to gem and enchant your gear, you have no minor glyphs, you're missing the best hunter glyph, you're using a STR cloak. You are a bad player. Please stop saying you're going to stop posting and then posting again, just stop for goodness sake.
At the risk of being different. Maybe we should leave the kid alone, he's not nearly as annoying as he was before, his gear is getting better and he's trying to get better.
We were all bad at the game at one point (with the exception of gb, he's a god) and the jokes are getting old.

Don't do it all at once. Just do it. People are going to think you're bad because you have ungemmed gear, and the fact that you have ungemmed gear means you're bad.
You probably struggle to break 1.5k dps, and the fact that you think you can coast along until you have enough gold to do everything at once makes my head hurt a little bit. Essentially, you get carried through content and when you win gear you don't deserve you choose to put the worst possible stuff on it and justify it with 'I'll fix it later'.
Either play properly or stop playing, because at the moment people are wasting spaces in raid ID's so you can get gear you won't even use, coupled with what can only be appauling damage, they're also wasting their effort on carrying you.
I implore you, leave. Leave for good, never come back. You're just not suited to the game and you're too lazy to do anything about it.

Ok let me get this straight.
GB told me to fix my talent tree and gem my gear, which I did. This was when i had around 3.8k gs. My gear has since then updated and i've forgotten to gem it (forgetting isn't the same as laziness). And i'm currently in ICC, so i can't do it just yet.
I do RAF, which takes me away from my main for a while which means my gear isn't changing nor is the gems and enchantment on my gear, and im not earning money to do it.
I currently have about 100g, sure it will get me a few gems but not enough.
During Lord Marrowgar, without the dps tactic (just then) i did 3.2k dps on the boss. That might be low it might be high, i don't know but it put me 3rd on the charts and that seems good enough to me.

First you said you didnt have the money to gem/enchant your gear now you just said you forgot to do it.
When I was gearing my tank, I ALWAYS made sure I had full epic gems and best enchants, even if I knew I would only have that item for a few days. if you gimp yourself in that kind of way it's basicly shooting yourself in the foot, it will be harder for you to completely content and get better upgrades.
it's easier now to get gold in this game than every before, spend 45 mins doing your AT dailies or go farming, either way most things are affordable and easy to get (heck even spend 30 mins doing WG - a win is enough honour for 1 epic gem and a decent ammount of gold!)

Forgetting isn't the same as laziness, it is however, just as bad. Don't go to Icecrown. You're really not good enough for Icecrown. Me and Jethro tanked Marrogar and out dps'd you. Go and read EJ, do some dailies, play the AH. Do fucking something. Stop levelling other characters until you stop sucking at your first one.
Honestly, people like you are the reason good players get shouted out in random dungeons, you're the reason good players get called elitist because they're interested in how their class works. You're the reason WoW players everywhere are both revered and reviled by the majority of the gaming community. It's east to not fail at an FPS, it's fairly easy to be good as well but it's far too easy to fail at MMOs and everything you do and say strengthens that point beyond belief.
You could be good at this game if you actually spent some time trying to be, but it does take a little bit of work and if you're not prepared to do that you'll be laughed out of forums and kicked out of groups until you sell your account and cry because you couldn't figure out which gems to use or what order to use your abilities in.

You're perfectly capable of doing much better dps. Sort yourself out.
it's about maximising your character. being the best you can be, settling for mediocre and coasting your way through is bad.

Gemming your gears doesn't make you good.

Back in the day, when my hunter was my first and only 80, i was bad, i pulled 1900 DPS in epics in SV spec. I had a couple stam gems, and i went for socket bonuses.
I then went and lurked the hunter forums at worldofwarcraft.com
You have no excuse when the resources to not be bad are so easy to find

i did that in BLUES on my spriest
A +20 epic arp gem is 164g, so i'm being cheap and going for +12 uncommon. Atleast it's something for the time being, when i get more money i will upgrade.

Arp is more efficient the more you has as it takes the DR of armor backwards...
If you are going for Arp, you'll need a little more then +12 arp gems.
