I got kinda carried during the old days. I didn't even know you could craft manapotions before the first bosses of Naxx40. I pwned in BG's though with a friend healing me. I critted shit for thousands, it was awesome!

You're right, I was refering to end-game though.
Basically the game has only really improved, it requires a lot less time to do anything now. Even getting yourself a fast mount was a huge deal and would take months after dinging 60 if you were also interested in enchanting your gear and buying BoE blues etc.

Damnit.. Yeah I raided AQ40 and Naxx, got sick ass gear. Quit from my raiding guild, joined another one (Worse one), there was bunch of my friends. Then we did shit, for example BG, I owned - thanks to my gear.

Yerh I don't think many shadow priests got into naxx raiding guilds at that time.

So that naxx-level holy gear wouldn't have been that great for shad priest.
I signed it, it makes me sad to see Azeroth get cut in half by lava. Even if I lost interest in the game ages ago, it's still weird to think that the experiance I had to go through to get past Azeroth will be lost in favour of arenas and sieges. Heck, I remember when getting to level fourty and getting your first mount was an achievement. Now it's just get to level twenty and give a tiny coin to someone and you're done until your 'epic' mount at, what, level fourty now? I dunno, it feels like a real stab in the back for veterans.

People could still get offset gear, warlock/mage.
Acid, I think Spell- and Healingpower were separate different stats in Burning Crusade as well. If I'm not totally mistaken this Spell/Healing -power stat simplifying change came in Wotlk at some point?

It's like going up 30 flights of stairs, only to find out that there's an elevator.
Sure, I'm a bit pissed off because I had to go up the stairs, but I'm not going to have them remove the elevator.
Wow today is some damn playhouse compared to classic wow. seriously, this is blizzard. They comes up with an idea, they thinks that new is better, so they think of something, maybe an upcoming expansion that will make huge lava cracks and ruin all beauty to the game.
And, if blizzard would host classic servers (I bet they wouldnt, even if they would bring milions of players back into wow, and make a huge benefit from it.) they would probably keep the patches and bug fixes, but not the content from the expansions or the upcoming one(s).
I played Classic WoW, then i played BC, it was a totally change of the game, the very RPG feeling to the game just disappeared in my opinion, might sound strange, but yeah.
This was a small collection of my thoughts around this.

in BC, healing was changed to +healing & +1/3 sp.
and then sometime between the time i quit WoW in BC and the time i came back in WotLK, they were made the same
