What the hell is "slendermen"? Anyone to explain?
Read GD.
When I read the thread I honestly thought you were talking about cockmongler.
What the hell is "slendermen"? Anyone to explain?
There was a thread about it not to long ago, something about photoshopping a drawn dude in random pictures of dark streets or something.
Dude, i came up with the exact same theory! i was searching on google a few months back for any real life versions of the gman (i typed in something like strange man in suit) and i found out about indrid cold and the grinning men, i actually made a video on it which i must upload soon, it all fits pretty well, also: g(rinning)man
I don't think that Half-Life is going to incorporate paranormal activity. It's already in a crazy sci-fi setting where they explain aliens, teleportation, and sentient robots with science. But recall that the g-man is never actually called "the g-man" in any of the games. He's always left unnamed. G-man is just the nickname that Valve and the players have given him, so I wouldn't go looking for clues in it. It mostly likely stands for "government man" because that's what he looked like in the first game. And everyone has always suspected that he's an alien of some kind because of the weird way he talks, that's not new.
-snip- [editline]10:16PM[/editline] Hellz yea!
Trying to get it down so I can finally pee, and then this. G-man theory is the shit, yo.
Gman is a wizard-pimp from the future who rides around in a magical hovering green shiny limousine. The Gman had made a discovery in his sexy stripper laboratory that if it wasn't for the Black Mesa incedent, the world would still have a recessive economy because the Combine hadn't taken over with their new technology but due to a time paradox in which Gman's evil twin brothers tries to foil Gordons freemans from defeating the combine so the Gman has to travel back in time to make sure that Gordon Freeman defeats the Combine so the humans can borrow their technology for the use of capitalism and Gman's riches and hoes.

Keel, who personally investigated and questioned the Lilly family, asked them "Did you ever dream that there was a stranger in the house in the middle of the night?" Linda Lilly, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lilly then confessed her story. She described how she woke up one night and saw a very large figure towering over her bed. "It was a man, a big man. Very broad. I couldn't see his face very well, but I could see that he was grinning at me." Mrs. Lilly said that she heard a terrible scream that night, and Linda ran into her room screaming "There is a man in my room! There is!" She refused to sleep alone ever since the encounter
this is in the article :ohdear:
wtf is the slender Man?
How come G-Man used to have trouble speaking, but now he speaks pretty clearly? Did I miss something, or am I being dumb?
Stunning update: I know how to find G-Man in real life. Google's email service, Gmail, actually means G-Male. Of course, that leads us to the obvious conclusion that G-Male = G-Man. What does this mean? It means that the G-Man uses Gmail. How do we find him? Mass-message everyone on your contact list who uses Gmail. They're all in on it. They're hiding him. We'll get to the bottom of this before you can say "Rise AND shine...(or you'll miss the bus.)"
I know some other people said this, but I feel they didn't go into enough detail. G-man was a common slang term used to describe government agents during the the Cold War and the time of general Russian warfare fear. These people liked to snoop around (like the HL2 G-man), looking for people who might be Russian spies. In this respect, G-man is very similar to this because he likes to pop up in wierd places and give you that smug/curious look. Also, real-life g-men recognized a higher power, namely the president/secretary of defense. The HL2 G-man is always hinting at how some other supernatural beings are hiring Gordon Freeman and sending G-man to look after him/put him in stasis. There's no genetic relationship with him and Gordon, but I still laughed my ass off at "Garry (Cole)man"
HL2 and the Episodes take place in Ukraine and Russia.
That doesn't matter, seeing as G-man is an extraterrestrial being. Also, it's the character similarities that give him the name.
