That is an ability we have planned for the Assassin already. It's more of a really slow moving of time with you moving normally. We felt that it fitted the Assassin's endgame abilites as he needed an ability which allows him to escape crowds of enemies quickly. But if you have any other spell ideas, keep them coming.
Summoning/mirror spell. Makes a copy of you and either does basic spells of his own OR mimmicks your actions for half the cost. (AKA fireball is 50 mana, with this spell on it costs 75 + a slow draining effect) Endgame spell for the wizard with lots of mana. Can really do devestating things. Wall of air - pushes everything away in front of you. Early/midgame spell.
The first one is really good, I think I ought to put that in the current talent system. The second one is also a great idea that could have use in many physics puzzles. Good ideas all around!
So, in case you guys didn't know by now, this is only the first alpha version. There are two more classes to show you; the sinister Assassin and the powerful Warrior. Both of them will have their own alpha versions so you guys get to test their abilities. As the Wizard, open a portal into the molten core of the world itself and pour the lava out. The assassin can turn invisible, feign death and even freeze time in order to escape and manipulate the dangers around him. Do good and get rewards - go evil and reap the rewards to yourself. Those screens look 10x better then the current Alpha. [editline]11:20AM[/editline] The ones from the above post I mean.
Of course they do, you were playing in a specifically made Alpha arena, not in fancy real locations such as Yamar or Aiona.
Contruct is awesome :v: it gives you all these incredibly tools to use. I made a simple lighting demo myself a long time ago (because i found the beta was too broken for anything else back then..) Still pretty proud of this achievement. It however is simple to do..:(
For testing the alpha and being generally good people, I'm crowning a new Rage ability called a Facepunch. It's simple, you can charge with your fist directly through the face of an enemy. This is to thank you guys for giving me constructive criticism, new spell ideas and showing me some amazing stuff with the alpha I had never thought of before. You can attain a Facepunch in the Warrior Alpha Version and the full game by accumulating enough Rage (by blocking with your shield and sword). It's an instant-kill ability like all other Rage skills.
When are the new classes coming out? I wanna be a Mage or an Assassin!
You are a Wizard in this alpha version. There will be separate alpha versions to test the Assassin and Warrior's abilities in the future (probably in the summer). These are just alpha versions to test the abilities of each class, the real game is named "Arcane, Stealth & Power Volume One: The Siege on the Spiritual Plane" which will feature all three classes.
This has alot of potential, all of which I see will be used due to Name being cool enough to actually do stuff! How about a character like a Necromancer or a Druid, something that has darker more sinister abilities, the power of Nature and Death?
Those fall under the category of wizard.
In this case. They do indeed, but I didn't know how many abilities he wanted a class to have. I don't know if he wants more specific systems for these or not. Just a suggestion.
