I can't seem to get HDR or bloom to work. Can someone help?
I've heard people mention that, but I never found that cave. Where is it?
Also, there was the red barn headcrab. You can expect them in vents, but that thing landed right in front of me with no warning. I was so startled I released an SMG grenade and killed myself.
After the barrel puzzle, you see the dropship drop off some metrocops, drive a bit more and look right and you should see the lambda logo.

It only works on d1_town_05 and all the d2 maps.
all the d2 maps.
minus the lighthouse point map
Fullbright keeps turning itself on and it refuses to turn off.
Also, whenever there is water, the skybox disappears. It's really irritating.

that's DX7.
i'm running it at full settings... i think the patch may have scrambled some resources around. i'll try reinstalling from scratch some day... whenever... didn't care much for that game anyway.
BUT, the above pic makes me nostalgia a bit... could you send me your config?

It ain't DX7. Actually it was on DX 9 before but I lowered it to DX 8.5 to take that picture.
Just put everything to low.
[editline]08:31PM[/editline]
I just tried it again on DX 9 with everything cranked to 10.
That pulse rifle looks like it was made in paint.
Take D0G's 'ball' and use it as a weapon in Ravenholm, it will distract zombies, and if you can manage to keep it until the final part it can distract the Fast Zombies from climbing the pipes if you throw it down.

I brought it to Nova Prospekt like everyone else. Good times.
You could even take it out of the junkyard?! 0.o

Yeahh, just keep holding on to it with the Grav Gun. Makes a good weapon

I fixed it by turning on HDR. Do you have it off?

That's what it has always looked like on low settings.
Why are you people running a game from 2004 with a 2007 update on a graphics mode that was released in 1999 in the year 2010?

i like timetravelling...
I found it pretty awesome that the combine soldiers actually crouched behind cover.

I'm having so much fun with it :)
Typically useful for distracting enemies and as gravgun ammo, it's also nice for keeping you company (following you around!). It seems like it can squash headcrabs on its own, too.

It's pretty useful, but it can get annoying when it keeps blocking your path.
I plan on carrying it around until Grigori pushes me the cart, so it can distract the fast zombies.

I did something similar with a friendly turret in Nova Prospekt.
I eventually forgot about it though ;_;
Zombie Chopper, yay! Not that hard really, as everything except the fast zombies are basically equivalents of traffic barriers with claws. Trying to live through the elevator scene halfway through Ravenholm with what little furniture the room supplied you with was fun, as was the line cart scene (actually you could just lock yourself up and wait for the cart to arrive, or circle-strafe them as there can only be 2-3 alive at one time) :v:
Lost Dog's ball though, turns out rollermines are not invulnerable :<
Doing a playthrough of Ep1 and oh goddamnit alyx...

I remember when I was going for that. I was running around in constant circles waiting for the cart, with Fast Zombies just inches away from me. I just kept running, and went inside the cart.
Good God...
I went back down to the room under the hatch. I was alone the whole time, and just went up the ladder and jumped in the cart once it had arrived.
You guys had way more fun.
I noticed the game in general's pretty glitchy, most likely due to the port, I guess. Did anyone else have the airboat just... stop upon changing levels? I think this happened on saves as well, but I'm not sure.
Also, this;

Sorry for the BGM.
Yeah, the airboat not maintaining its momentum is a confirmed bug.
I constantly keep hearing Alyx say "Come on Gordon", even when she's not there. Also, Breen no longer stands up during the teleporting sequence - I'm not sure if this is intentional but it makes him seem a lot less surprised to see you.
