if this is true, that really sucks. I could've lived with a 6.3k champ every now and then if they now buffed the IP gain across the board, but if from now on you get less than 100 ip on every game, that really blows.

Just leveling his W and E will do all of the damage you possibly can. After my first 2 games I didn't even bother leveling his Q in my third game. His ult can basically be ignored. Even trying a full AP build, his Ult and Q abilities are useless. Overall I think he does too little damage, even for a tank/support tank.
Also according to the forums, a 50 minute game only gives 91 IP.

None of ryze spells can do that
Smart cast casts the spell you use it with at your cursor location. It's extremely useful with skill shots. It also works with any other spell if you put the cursor over a valid target. It allows easy clutch shields/healing. It's great for spell spammers too. (Vlad, Ryze, Veigar, etc.)
