His abilities gets weakened once you reach late game, cause of the armor and magic resistance the other team have, but usually playing Renekton very well leaves you winning the game at the end of mid game or at the beginning of late game.

I tried to get a few guys from my school to play, but no they didn't want to. I played with one of them, and me and him are still getting our asses kicked. We probably win one round out of luck, and lose about 6 a day.
I don't know what is wrong. I mean I get like 14 kills and 2 deaths with Katarina. But EVERY time, my team loses. I don't know how my friends even get that much.
Few guys have about already 40-50 wins at level 14. and I struggled like hell and only have 14 wins. If anyone would like to give me some tips of what to do in the situation of facing a Cho Gath, please do. Even if my whole team tried to gank Cho-Gath, we'd get our asses beat down within 5 seconds by the other team.

Ashe, strong carry, 450 IP, common first pick / ban on EU servers. 'Nuff said.
Nunu, decent tank, great jungler (really easy to jungle), strong ulti, great ganking toolkit, 450 IP
Ryze, great nuker, easy to play (since you stack mana / survivability and mash Q)
Ok, i've got like 4000ip and i want to buy a new champ, these are the only 1350-3150 champs i don't have:

Build survivability + damage. W is your only skill you should use with +50 rage.
