You still don't get it. Her abilities scale off ad but deal magic damage. Its a fundamental concept to the game that what an ability scales off is not always the damage it deals.

lol you still don't understand. A kat with a bf sword does not deal physical damage. She deals magic damage. Therefore you need mr not armor. You should learn champs before you tell people what to do.

simple solution is to buy armor
sure she deals magic damage, but if you can interrupt ult then she can ONLY auto attack and use her Q for damage

why would you spend gold on magic resist against 3 AD and an AD built champ that has 2 abilities that deal magic damage. even if her ult hurts just CC her and you don't have to waste gold on MR

-Ghostblade
-Wriggle's Lantern
-Vampiric Scepter

Then you can just build on that if you get more money: (Force of Nature, Warmog's (if you really, really need it, as it synergizes with his W very well), Last Whisper, Infinity Edge, ETC).

In ranked twice in a row I've gotten a team captain who played AP TF. Only one first picked a high priority character and switched with someone. It was Shen, and the guy who he switched with had no idea how to play Shen and said it was his second time jungling with Shen.

I always get boots, Frozen Mallet for just killing everyone that doesn't have a slow, Sunfire cape, Atma's (200+ dmg now), Life steal of some sort, Last item depends on the match.
I get like ok scores with this build, but a lot of assists. <.<

if a kat has all ad items and 0 ap, then building magic resistance is the dumbest shit ever.

yes her abilities scale with ap but with 0 ap its only goona do the base dmg like 300 or something.

All of her damaging abilities are magic damage. She does not autoattack. Do not build armor against kat. I don't know how you are disagreeing with me now. I am not arguing over what defence was the best. Im saying that you need mr against kat. Blueplastic was wrong in saying to get armor against her. Stop making me reiterate myself.
