In a 1v1 lane it's enough to sustain him. The few times I played him solo top I was unharassable. Q entire creep wave to death, walk up to enemy and attack. They have to back up, either get murdered by minions or me. And if they stayed I can just heal up from the next creep wave and my Doran's.

ren isn't supposed to win a 1v1 against somebody like yi who basically kills anybody other than yi in a 1v1.

he's good for initiation and ganking, considering he has 2, 3 if you count slice-n-dice, aoe spells.

What is he good for? Blink + Stun + Q = good physical burst coupled with survivability.
He's great at fighting and bursting with a strong auto attack.
Putting him toe to toe with the king of 1v1 fights is retarded and stupid.
Team fight scenario yi steps up tries to catch your carry. E over, W, Q, dead yi oops.

Here's an idea: We stop fucking bitching and trolling.
Hammerstorm is easy. Insanitarius and smash. Only thing you have to worry about is when to go in. All your skills are pop and forget.
Engineer not to sure but you need to know how to drop that bomb to push em to you and snare em with the turret.
Fiddle's fear is an absolute bitch.
I think Tryhardnamere, my favorite champion, is the king of 1v1. Yi's have come pretty close to killing me, but with Bloodlust and Undying Rage I always win. Even without my ultimate I can usually win a 1v1 thanks to Bloodlust.

400 damage with a .7s attack cooldown at level 14 last game. Shit is sexy as hell.
Engineer is a matter of knowing where to throw your projectiles. A good thing to keep in mind is that the turret doesn't slow your enemies, it pushes them back when the projectiles hit. Therefore, not only is exposure time important but so is direction.

My god, I got so fed! :D
Got a lot of kills early game off of Sion and Mundo who kept over committing to trying to kill me and Jax. After we took down the tower, I helped our Karthus stave off Sivir along with Mundo and Sion as they tried to gank. After that I just started getting kills all over from Ezreal and Shaco and everyone. By the end of the game I had 11 stacks(after dying with 17) on Mejai's, and had 761 AP. I also got a few triple kills.
