With the new ip system you're only going to get more ip if the game lasts about 55 mins:
IP per minute awarded on a win at 25/40/55 minutes:
Old system: 4.7/2.7/1.9
New system: 3.0/2.7/2.6
IP per minute awarded on a loss at 25/40/55 minutes
Old System: 2.5/1.8/1.3
New system: 1.7/1.6/1.6

I'm surprised you guys aren't complaining about the new ip rates. Most games are shorter than 38 minutes, which is the threshold. The ones that are longer tend to be barely longer. You only get a few epic long battles for which you are awarded large amounts of IP.

Unless the game lasts 38+ mins, you're going to get less ip. Also, it gets maxed out at 55 mins.

Winning in 20 is still the most efficient way to get ip
shit I didn't get a boost because all I did was a practice game yesterday
There are few games that actually end so soon that one would experience a serious loss in IP gain. The system is a compromise for the 20 min surrenders(which I have seen no one op for, even in a game where it was 9-1 with all their front towers down) and probably a solution to bot farm games.
