I'm thinking of buying Caitlyn, the sniper. Any advice?
Even at level 30 I hardly ever see people trying to last hit or call MIAs. Usually end up getting ganked by top(if I'm mid) or mid(if I'm top or bot) by about 10 minutes, then having to tell my team to call MIAs. Even then it usually doesn't happen. :c
yeah,I had more ppl calling mias and last-hitting,and using wards too, before lvl 30,I just played vs a lvl 30 shaco with chalice of harmony, boots of mobility and a B.F. sword,I mean, for real?shaco?with chalice?I lol'd at his face...
I dunno, the more I play, the more I get ppl who can't even tell the difference between the sight ward and the vision ward :/

If Nunu's ult is interrupted how much damage does it do?
Because every time I ult I only do like 2-4 bars
Even with BV against a Kass/Blitz/Malphite team I can't do shit with his ult
My internet went apeshit during a custom practice game (my ping was like 800), so i just left. It doesn't count towards my leave counter, right?
Every single fucking time I play against an Irelia my team gets smashed. Fuck.
My internet went apeshit during a custom practice game (my ping was like 800), so i just left. It doesn't count towards my leave counter, right?
no
i do custom games -> leave after i figure something out all the time
1202. :unsmith:
Played against an AP Trynd though, but their Kennen was worse than AP Trynd.. I don't know how.
MM fucked up, I should have gotten that Kennen and Trynd.
Posting my Shen guide here since PM's are limited to 5000 characters and this contains 6958 characters. Scroll past this if you do not want to read my cheesy 5 minute written guide
I see that you use Shen a lot judging from the post on the LoL thread. I just got him and want to start maining him. What builds do you use, and are there any types I should know? I find that hitting people with my taunt is rather difficult. Also, is it worth it to get up his feint move, or am I better to focus on the vorpal blade, then the taunt, then feint? Thanks in advance :)
I have only played Shen on my low level account, but this is what I've been doing so far.
Summed up:
Summoner Spells: Exhaust and Ghost
Skilling priority: 1. Stand United(ult) 2. Vorpal Blade 3. Feint or Shadow Dash (I always mix this a bit)
Item Build: Mercury's Threads, Aegis of the Legion, Giant's Belt or Leviathan, Banshee Veil or Randuin's Omen depending on magic or physical enemy team.
Runes: Flat Dodge Yellows and Flat Health Quintessences, haven't decided on others yet.
Summoner Skills: The Defence tree (21) and Utility tree (9), but I can't go to details yet because I'm not high level with my Shen account.
The match:
Start with Ruby Crystal and Shadow Dash, try to keep sitting in the bush and when an enemy gets near taunt them + one ki strike (your passive) and then run back. Remember to keep last hitting minions. The next couple of levels put all your points in Vorpal Blade and maybe one point in Feint if they have a ranged character that can hit you. With high level Vorpal Blade you can easily regenerate your health by spamming it on minions and when the enemy gets close Taunt+Ki Strike+Vorpal Blade+Feint and run back. People will start to fear you, if they are doing better then you just let them push the lane back to your tower and taunt them if they want to attack the tower.
Now most importantly, check your gold all the time, teleport back once you can buy boots (350 gold) and teleport back again to buy Null-Magic Mantle (400 gold), then teleport back yet again to get Mercury Threads (450 gold). Teleport back again for another Null-Magic Mantle for building your Aegis of Legion. You might think teleporting back this many times is a waste, but it's really not. Especially if you have boots you can harass a lot better and they pretty much can't do anything against you. Once you hit level 6-7 look around for the other 2 lanes to see if you can help destroy the enemy. I usually prefer going in the enemy duo lane, which usually results in at least one kill, and with your Mercury's Threads and Null-Magic Mantle and Ruby Crystal the other one is probably too weak to do any damage to you when you push the lane to their tower. (Focus on destroying their tower, and Shadow Dash back once all your minions died. Now if you're still healthy go to the mid lane and harass the enemy champion so your mid champion has a huge advantage over him. YOU DO NOT NEED TO KILL THE ENEMY CHAMPION, JUST WEAKEN HIM A LOT.
Then teleport back to buy a ward for dragon or 1 or 2 health potion if you really need it, or buy Cloth Armor for your Aegis of Legion. On your way to your lane you can pass the jungle and perhaps help one of your carries get red or blue buff, and kill some jungle monsters for extra gold. Go back to your lane (your teammate should be doing fine but the enemy probably pushed him back to your tower in most cases) and last hit a lot of enemy minions while also trying to deny the enemy champions. Remember to keep leveling Vorpal Blade and if they have slow missile attacks (like nunu's iceball) level up Feint a bit to block the damage. Shadow Dash is really not something you need to level, the taunt time levels really badly and the basic 0.8 seconds is enough. At this point you should try to secure to destroy one of their top or bot towers, after which you farm up your Aegis of Legion and check if anyone needs to be ulted by you. After this you can try to do Dragon with someone if it's safe and just harass everywhere around the map. You are very hard to kill at this point and you can weaken the enemies enough and then wait for the right moment to engage the enemy with your Exhaust for finishing him off with teammates of you.
The teamfights should start by now, your priority is to walk in front of all your teammates if they are together, or if the enemy team is scattered wait them up in a bush. Build towards either Leviathan or Giant's Belt depending on how good you are doing. After that get Negatron Cloak if the strongest enemy of theirs is magic damage or Heart of Gold if it's physical damage. Then I build to either Banshee Veil (especially if they have some crowd control spells) or Randuin's Omen (I don't think I've ever finished Randuin's Omen) Remember that you can take some damage to destroy an enemy tower since you're the tank, don't fear at them attacking you at their tower if you have some teammates with you you can safely escape.
The reason you don't start with Doran's Shield is because Ruby Crystal is part of your Aegis of Legion and Shen is a terrible farmer. I've actually only recently changed to this and it really speeds up the item building process. Also don't forget to spam Vorpal Blade in the laning phase, since Shen uses Energy you can spam as much as you want, and if you constantly level Vorpal Blade it will actually hurt so much they will be afraid of you. And it will also start doing so much damage you can kill one hurt minion with Vorpal Blade and another one with Ki Strike. Also when slaying Dragon don't spam Feint+Vorpal Strike, it wastes a lot of Energy. Use Vorpal Strike only when it runs out on the Dragon and Feint if you have too much Energy. Try to save Energy for your Shadow Dash just incase an enemy comes.
Remember to use Shadow Dash a lot on their champions who use their skills a lot. When they're taunted they cannot use their skills thus rendering them useless for a brief moment. Enemies like Malzahar are a good target for your Shadow Dash.
If your ultimate is down try to stick with your teammates even if your health is pretty low. You can get a lot of health back with Vorpal Blade and even with low health you are a very high threat because once the enemy used their skills on one of your teammates you can run in and taunt the enemy champ, do your combo and then quickly run out. Also keep in mind not to use your ultimate on every teammate that is dying. If one of your teammates went into a trap of 3-5 enemy champions all alone just let him die, it's best to use your ultimate on a teammate who is low on health and fighting an overextended enemy.
Also be sure to use smartcasting (When you press Q it instantly throws the Vorpal Blade on the enemy you hover your mouse over, instead of clicking left-mouse button.), you can change to smartcasting ingame by going to your keyboard settings and changing qwer to smartcast. Hopefully smartcasting will make your taunt hit more since you don't have to click extra. Just keep in mind that your dash doesn't go all the way if you keep your mouse too close to your champion.
When I first started playing I read a lot here:

My Kassadin play is worse than my first Tryn plays
Bleh, I hate passive early games
You'd love Poppy.
She's god awful at farming but she can easily get kills before 6
Kass needs both his Q and E maxed asap, he's really level dependant
