When the starters were first revealed I didn't like Oshawott. I thought he looked kinda dopey. I also thought Tepig's evolutions would be epic pig pokemon, but instead they turn into the stupid looking Emboar. I wanted to ride into battle on a fire spitting pig with a punny name, not watch ANOTHER fire/fighting starter end up useless half way through the game.
same, but i fell in love with samurott. and snivy has just always been jesus
