That wouldn't make sense, 2 games being colours and the third game being something like chaos? It's definitely a colour, and gray seems the most probable since black mixed with white makes gray. I know it didn't work that way for the other games, but those didn't have extreme opposites like black/white.

Well, checked Target, they got a DSi+White version as a deal, should I take that deal(costs 180) or buy seperate(185, buy the DSi first, then wait and buy the game when its released or a few weeks after release)? One of them has the whole deal(DSi+game), but the other can give me a chance to rearm my wallet(if I start working, get DSi first, then wait).
I'd probably take the deal myself, as I like a good deal and I don't really see why you would want to wait anyways
Then again with the 3DS coming out, I'd just wait for that
I'm waiting on the 3DS, someday my DSlite is gonna have to give (already body cracks are showing from general use). I just hope the prices aren't marked up too high around where I live :argh:

Personally I don't really see any reason to get a DSi over a lite.
It has a camera but there isn't much reason to care for that.
Slightly bigger screens and downloadable games is nice but not sure if its worth the price.
But thats just my opinion do with your money as you please.
Bought myself a DSi for £80. Was gonna wait for the 3DS, but I think it's just a bit too gimmicky to splash out another £140 on. I have problem seeing 3D due to an eye problem, so the actual 3D would be shit for me anyway.

Actually it has basically double the power over the lite, just like how the GBC was over the GB.
If I were to rip a real-life example, Pokemon HG/SS has better FPS (and at times loads faster) on a DSi than a DSlite, this is from experience.
Plus it has to be worth more if it's another seperate system with better features.
Which means good news to anyone who hasn't bought themselves a DS-family console yet, those who already have can opt to trade it in to get money off their next big purchase.

The 3DS, despite it's name, is an entire new gen of console (technically). Think of it's graphical capabilities as a Gamecube, rather than the N64ish DS. You can adjust the 3D level however, so much as to make your games entirely 2D for the whole playthrough.
That said, don't expect the games to be backwards compatible [i]at all[/i].

I don't see where this whole '5th Gen Pokemon games only play on the 3DS' view is coming from.
That's not what I meant. What I meant was he shouldn't buy the dsi just for pokemon. For example, if the wii was coming out a month after a new gamecube game, you'd have to be an idiot to buy a new gamecube. Just wait a little longer so you don't waste your money on a console that will soon no longer be getting any new games
