My nuzlocke of ruby was hell, the fight with may under the cycling bridge is DEVASTATING unless you have a water type at that stage (unlikely as hell), I lost my mightyena to complete bullshit (I got critically hit by flanneries 1hp torkoal flail) I lost my magikarp to a fucking trapinch (FUCK ARENA TRAP FOREVER) and even more bullshit.
I plan to do SS nuzlocke, with the restriction I can never purchase any item, but I can use any item I find (including revives)
I think that might make it slightly too easy, but I guess the incredibly low pokeball counts will make it more fair. The first pokemon per area rule still applies, so that'll be painful.
Also your dad's slaking. You better pray you got a pokemon with protect or you are royally fucked.
Ruby/sapphire are bitches. Of course if I put any effort into grinding they could have been slot easier.
Also, I rarely had problems with Norman, just use a breloom that's about 2 Lvls higher than it, and you Mach punch about a third of it's health, so you kill it only taking one attack, and his last slaking always tries focus punch and is absolutely useless

Yeah the duct* tape is only holding the batteries in since my toddler siste (at the time) got a hold of it, thankfully it still works pretty damned well.

It raises the speed stat by two stages

But is there a conversion for a "stage" to stats? i mean for instance the base accuracy of flamethrower is 100, how much does my accuracy go down if an enemy pidgey uses sand attack on me? I would think a stage is like...10 perhaps?

How the hell does the slot machines in Diamond work? I thought it just worked like a regular slot machine but I keep seeing different kinds of pokeballs at the bottom of the screen and sometimes a clefairy and I swear I once saw a clefairy but it had a :downs: face
I can't find any instructions or anything on it ingame.

Leafgreen and Firered's slot machines were so easy to exploit.
