It does, but the Japanese roms were soooo laggy, I stopped after the 3rd gym. The english roms will most likely be the same.
Did anyone else get lag on some of the battle screens? Every now and then the sprites move REALLY slowly and skip frames. It's very annoying.

Pignition isn't even the best pun (though it is the most obvious). Boarbeque and Hamferno are much better IMO.

The best thing about Gen 2 is psychic pokemon weren't completely OP anymore.

In response to a post on the previous page: I used to play metagame so will probably get back into it once I finish the storyline.
I'm actually really enjoying the game so far - definitely feels more fun that the Gen IV games. The lack of old pokemon is a really nice idea - it's like I'm discovering everything all over again :unsmith:

I've loathed Drowsy since I was 7 years old. I don't mind Kadabra, at least they [b]aren't[/b] found in the wild. (Fucking typos.)
Even worse is when your enemy keeps using hypnosis (and it hitting every time) as you switch out Pokemon. When I was playing earlier 3 Pokemon ended up asleep in as many turns. Stupid cheating game.
