I like the game and I like most of the new Pokemon. I just don't like the starters.
Here's what I love about the game; the little things:
Accordian man. The way the music/sound clip of the accordian gets louder going toward him. It's a really neat innovation in the pokemon games.
Moving sprites are so nice, I'm glad the game actually got into the next generation.

Caught a shiny Patarat on my way to the first gym :buddy:. It's my third shiny ever, the first two being Noctowl in Gold, and Gulpin in Ruby.

Well, I think the new starters are growing on me. Maybe I'm just biased towards Gen II. I'm naming all my Pokemon after Mass Effect characters. Wanted to name my Tepig after an Elcor, figured Feron sounded cooler.

For anyone that wants one, I need to get the Celebi to the game, then get a ditto or something compatible. I'll do that once I beat the E4, which should be a week or so.

I found a shiny Machop in LG, but my DS ran out of battery durring the fight.
I was able to chain myself a Shiny Cubone though.
