I like this gen a lot. I think it's my second-favorite, behind the second gen.
I can't shake the feeling there is some sort of design scheme behind the entire 5th Gen.

And hell yes it seems like its getting somewhere in the battles timewise.
If i just saw what i think i saw i suspect Isshu is somewhere VERY, VERY SOUTH.
Sinnoh is way North, Johto is a bit more south and kanto....same level?
But seriously, the regions' climate and the way people dress says something.
I say Isshu is somewhere near Australia.

It's going to be a while before we get any form of translation. I find it fun going through the game blindly though. It's not that hard. The library gym took me a minute or two, but I got it on my own.
Also, I love the Team Plasma leader. He's so creepy, as is his theme. For once, a truly creepy villain in the Pokemon games.
That's who Aloe reminds me of. The Oracle from The Matrix.

For some reason I keep feeling like the rom is infected, even though (as far as I know) it's impossible to be infected from a .nds and there were no other files in the .rar (unless they could have been hidden? Is that even possible?)
Well unless your computer is giving you troll faces and doing shit that isn't normal then it's fine.

No, It is impossible to run binaries without actually manually running them, unless something is installed to do that, or of course there is a Java buffer overflow exploit to gain escalated privelages. ( Assuming the malicious code is in a hidden file in the rar and not in the nds file )

Ever since I first learned about viruses I've always had this fear that I'd accidentally get a virus on my computer that silently deleted everything I had, starting with files I use the least often, so that I wouldn't notice until it was too late.
Also, it'd steal my passwords. All of them.
Since I've never (in my knowledge) been infected by anything damaging, I'm not actually sure how much damage a virus could do before I noticed it. I'm way too paranoid about my computer security-- this rom is probably the most potentially dangerous thing I've intentionally downloaded
Anyhow, on subject-- is there a transcript of the important dialogue, or at least some translation of the moves, or at least a list of learned moves by level? I'm running blind in black, even with the exp patch.

No. And so am I, but it's pretty easy to figure what's going on, and what move is what, just by looking at it's stats.
