Awesome game. Was playing it just the other night with a few friends.
I don't see anybody from FP porting something well to this game. That is, anything that isn't a blade or a gun replacement.
I remember many hours on that Matrix Reloaded map, the apartment courtyard place, from the epic Neo-Smith battle. I remember going on rival clan severs with 'laming' rules, and just sniping people and pissing them off. (using a different name of course)

I remember once there were these people re-enacting one of the movies in some multiplayer server.. They were all standing by a window and I wanted to ruin it so I did this butterfly spin move and killed most of them. I thought I was such a badass..mind you this was like 6 years ago :x I then spent like 10 minutes evading the people I had pissed off by running around the map. Good times.
Also I shat bricks at the mutant rancor the first time I saw it
Oh and I used to always spawn jawa's in that sand level and watch them get killed by the sand creatures :)

People still play it after so many years. It really brings in competition to the starwars world, which is why its still alive.
Was definitely fun, but the SP story was shit compared to JKII
My favorite Star Wars game.
Also in JK2 you didn't have to go through so many hoops just to get dismemberment working in SP. In JKA you have to re-enable it every time you play, JK2 you just had to do it once.

Ugh I hated the sand worm mission. And the one where you're on top of the "moving space ship"...you mean the hover train? I loved that one too. I loved the gameplay in Jedi Academy but I liked the campaign more in Jedi Outcast. If only the two could be combined.
Definitely one of my favorite games of all time, if you haven't played it, buy it now.

I used to play this all the time in JA+, just having saber duels'n shit. I would always use dual sabers simply because you were more maneuverable, and I used to flip over people and run up walls and stuff, rather than using strong type attacks that most people used.
Then I'd switch to a single saber out of nowhere, and do a quick lunge forwards and up. Those were the days.
Oh and fighting on top of the shinra tower on midgard_v3 (A FF7 map) was fucking epic.
I remember being a badass for picking the two handed saber but only using one side of it, I think. Or perhaps it was the dual sabers. Either way I only used one saber, I remember it being pretty powerful in the right hands.
Jedi Academy is the weakest link of the Jedi Knight series. Dark Forces II is the best.
I remember looking for star wars games, stumbling upon this and playing the demo for months.
2 Years later found it for $10 and played it to hell :3:
This game is absolutely amazing, I've spent years playing it, literally.
There are more mods to this game than you can count in your lifetime, if you never played it, GET IT NOW.

What color sabers would you use? I use RED and Blue, one is an Arbiter, the other, I forget.
