Same for me, the only two PC gamers I know in real life are like obsessed with CoD.
I know one, bhought him the orange box for PC and he is now hooked to pc gaming.
I know about 5 hardcore gamers but I'd like to know some game developers real life instead of hardcore guys

Friends who play CS1.6:
alot, atleast 5.
Friends who play TF2 and GMod:
Two, one has powerful PC enough for TF2, other doesn't.
Friends who play Minecraft :
atleast 3.
Friends who play SA: MP :
Atleast three.
And I know all of them. Not all of them are in steam, though.
Oh yeah, I don't even know anybody who has a xBox in this town.. Awesome, right? Wait, One guy got an xBox Elite, but he doesn't play online. A 14 year old, he is.
And I know nobody with a PS3 either.
But I know that I have a Wii and alot of friends have relatives with a Wii.
And I know some people with a PSP

I know like four people who play little mobile phone games, and three that play on the Xbox occasionally. That's the extent of people I know who game.
I seriously need to get out more, because all but one of those people I'm related to by blood or marriage.
Everyone where I live is into XBOX, but I just got a friend to switch over from xbox to computer. I know about 10 IRL that play computer games. But yeah, PC gaming is more looked at as a "nerdy" system. Some people play Black Ops for 50 hours a week I know and they consider PC gamers I know who play 10 hours a week a nerd. Meh.

I know about 8 guys/girls from my Steam Friends list. Some were highschool friends, others I've met through work.
Update on the bisexual ADHD kid. Today I heard him talking about "Gabe Newegg the guy who created TF2" and he was showing his friend a Gaben remix and they asked what GabeN meant and he replied "He was making his email and he accidentally deleted a part of it"
I found that a lot more people I knew outside of here did, I'm not even talking about Steam friends, there always seems to be at least one Valve game someone mentions. I guess certain Valve games were more popular then others, others as in not Valve titles, I just can not recall others mentioning some non-Valve game in reality lately. This may be because Portal 2 is the talk now?

I always found that more Console Gamers know about L4D than Half Life, no doubt because L4D is a fun game and it's actually on the consoles while Half Life is PC exclusive. (And I hope it stays that way!)

Well, It started out with just me and then I converted 4 X-BAWKS people into steam gamers; I'm good for the intelligent society.
