Only 2 but they don't play the same games as me...
I always found that more Console Gamers know about L4D than Half Life, no doubt because L4D is a fun game and it's actually on the consoles while Half Life is PC exclusive. (And I hope it stays that way!)
Nope. HL1 was released for the PS2 (remember Decay?), and HL2 was a part of the Orange Box, which was released on consoles.
I know about three. Most of my other gaming friends only play 360.
One of my friends is an Xbox bro-gamer, and gave up on PC gaming, even though his dad helped him build a great gaming computer, offered to buy him games, and so on. It's kind of heartbreaking once you see it. His father tried to get him into computers and PC gaming, but he refuses to.
No... :(
There's a small group of us that play mostly Valve games. Sure, one of us is obsessed with XBox, but what can you do, eh.
They really hate me for going on and on about C&C Red Alert 3 all the time v:v:v
i have no friends that play pc games. Hell, they don't even play consoles that much
lifes strange
All of my IRL friends who play videogames usually play the PC the most.

They're justified.
Who doesn't? :colbert:
Father, brother, brother's friends.
Pretty much my entire circle of friends is filled with "PC Gamers." Unfortunately money's kinda tight around here so basically everyone except me has a shitty ISP and a shitty PC. It's not their fault, I know, but being the only one with a good PC and ISP (which I can thank my dad for since he's been a PC Gamer for years) means I'm basically alone.
Every other "gamer" at my school owns an Xbox 360 and spends all their time playing CoD and talking about their "lawl EPIC tomahawk kill ftw man". That's not an exaggeration, either. They actually talk like that.

I realize that. I said that because I have never met a console gamer who's even heard of the Orange Box. And Decay wasn't made by Valve, though your point still stands.
I met some dude today who plays TF2 and knows about FP. It was amazing
fuck,everyone in my class has a PS3
Most of PC gamers here either play CoD or WoW and these 2 series aren't really my cup of tea.
I've gotten, 3 people to start using Steam. I have 5 people on my list that I know in real life.
I've got three friends in highschool who are PC gamers. But one of them mostly plays CoD as far as I recall, and the other ones are just CoD generic console gamers.
Though lately I talked a bit about Minecraft with a console gamer friend, and a bunch of people in there plays WoW.
I know one guy who used to and 1 guy who's very weird and socially awkward.
It's a damn shame really, I prefer PC much more. I recently got back into Xbox Live to have more contact with my friends when we're not at college and even then I'm slowly starting to phase out of it again.
My dad is a WoW addict. He has 7 level 85s, other than than he used to play a lot of games like Unreal Tournament, Starcraft, and he played Half-Life. Im trying to get him to pay 50/50 on Portal 2 so he can play it on his PS3 with me.

Wow, how sad.

Half-life 2 was released for the original Xbox. The Xbox 360 and PS3 ports were packaged in the Orange Box. This is actually how one of my friends became aware of the awesomeness that is Valve.

Somebody already corrected me. And I said that because I've never at any point in my life met a console gamer who has heard of the Orange Box but NO, they know all about L4D!
No :smith:
yeah, one is a WoW addict, one is a former WoW addict (who lost like 30 pounds since he quit) and one is a counter strike nut
I'm sure I know others but those are the only ones I've actually played online with

It's totally a coincidence, trust me.

he isn't doing anything different other than not sitting in front of the computer for six hours at a time with chips and soda. he's just doing it in front of his xbox now

You're totally not an idiot, trust me.
Actually, wait, you are. Nevermind, my bad.
Wow, how sad.
Not really. He goes to the gym every day, hes not some fat neckbeard either, and all he does is Raid, which is a very social event. Not a big deal. I used to play WoW for a long time but I was always on and off, I finally quit about a month ago.
I rarely believe in certain bandwagons, but FP seems to have a serious one against WoW. You play TF2 for 40 hours a week and all you can think about is your next hat, some people play WoW for 40 hours a week and all they can think about is the next raid with 20 of their friends while they all talk to each other on Ventrillo.
...while they all talk to each other on Ventrillo.
They need to all shift to TeamSpeak, I've come to like it about ten times better than Ventrillo. It's also still updated.

Okay, good to know he is in good health, and who said I play TF2 for 40 hours a week? And for hats?! I feel insulted!
