Quite the opposite for me. Only two of my friends know/play TF2, and one doesn't even play anymore. Most people at my school are either CODFags or WoWFags. But most of what you said is what I have to deal with. "ololo black opz is da bez gaem evar" is an average quote from a boy at school. One person I know even skips school on thursdays to PLAY the damn game.
I for one, hate tacticool.

My classmate keeps asking me about tf2 and it irritates me.
"Which 1 is better, the rocket launcher or the direct hit". Then when I tell him that it's the rocket launcher hands down, he tells me otherwise, that it's better because it's "an unlockable, it's supposed to be better".
Another classmate of mine does competetive tf2 from time to time, he's good, but we really don't talk about games.

Don't know if this counts, but I was cruising around Omegle screwing off, and I came across a guy who runs cross country, track and plays ultimate like me, and also happens to be a PC gamer and has all the same interests as me. He's also a member of FP.

Not really, I signed one of my friends up for steam because he wanted to play New Vegas, but I don't think he ever set up a community profile. I wouldn't be surprised if some were at my school, sometimes I find internet memes written or drawn on the chalkboard.
My brother, my brother's best friend and various people at school. but mostly "LOL XBOX IS BESTEST PEECEE IS NURDS AND FAGS XBAWX 4 LYF!" in this small rural missouri town.
I know about four PC gamers in real life. One of which is really annoying, another is currently in Texas for college, and the last two are actually pretty cool. They frequent 4chan, but aren't super 'over 9000 lulz' about it.

All of my close friends have PCs. We all play games like SC2, TF2, BFBC2, etc.
I've got 25 friends on my list that I know in person, most them have been gaming on the PC for as long as I have.
It's much better than playing with people you just know over the internet.
I know a PC gamer at work. I told him about L4D and L4D2 and he thought the games sounded cool. So he got them...for his XBox.
He says they're fun but wishes that sometimes wishes there was a way to play with infinite ammo and godmode. He also wanted to know how much I paid for the L4D DLC's.

The only gamers I know are pc gamers and don't even own a next gen console(I knot 6 gamers in total)
I don't think I know anyone that I would classify as a console gamer. I guess PC gaming is just more the norm here
All my friends are PC gamers, and my brother. So, I know plenty of PC gamers thankfully.
