If you like anime, why would you want to watch an anime based on a western fantasy rpg? I guess they'll get the dragon age fans that love anime.
Way too humiliate a decent franchise though.

I love Dragon Age, even am wearing a DA shirt right now, but I can't stand anime. Just even catching the sight of it makes me pissed off.
I'll give it a chance though, Bioware knows what they're doing most of the time.

I seriously don't see the problem..? Like when the Halo anime episodes were announced, many reacted the same way. but people forgot about it in a week or two and even when they were released noone cared or talked about it.

Its is a feature length film about a game very few mainstream people played that is going to get trashed by critics, leaving that awful memory on the franchise name.

And I must say, this seems very backward. Dragon Age was great because of how Western it was, a throwback to the days of Baldur's Gate and Dungeons and Dragons. So turning it into pretty much the epitome of Eastern culture seems pretty odd.

Anime is not the epitome of Eastern culture...especially considering it's really only a Japanese and sometimes Korean thing.
