The thing is, anime can be decent, on very, very rare occasions, where all the planets are aligned and the blood of two canadians has been spilled on US soil, but the vast, vast majority of it is utter shit. And animes based on games are even worse, just look at the Halo anime or that shitty Dead Space anime.
Dragon Age is the only strategy game I've ever liked, I hope they don't mess it up
you guys are notting the picture, when I think of a gothic fantasy, I think it be somewhat dark like Wolf's Rain, Witch Hunter Robin, or something like the style of those two... or it can be all CGI like the Resident Evil cut scenes, The Final Fantasy movies, and other things.
