How do you pick stuff up? I just went around the first town fucking people up and I want to loot the guns and stuff.
Step over the item or body and press E.
Yeah i know stuff happens, that is why whenever i am traveling and i have to stop to get some fuel i save my game, its really helpful. Also with begginer help i added a link to a tutorial "your first mission"
Is the blue bar your fuel? Can you only refuel at refueling depots or what? [editline]04:11AM[/editline] Also, is there a map to show the four quadrants and the systems in it? I keep getting quests that aren't in the crimson quadrant and it's confusing on where to go :(
Click on the big arrow, when in navigation quadrant view.

Damnit, I always end up getting blown up when I'm trying to earn just a bit of cash to up my ship by trading. Like just now, 4-5 Runs inthe Jovius system then all of a sudden two pirates show up.
shooting this dosent work :derp: i'm getting ganked as we speek.
New ships are only bought when on display right? Then what is an Iris 1? Is it the ship's computer?
You need the navigation thing 5000 huh?
the only use of the 5000 is that you can look at the system/galaxy while you're not using your ship's navmap (N). i'd rather find out where my mission objectives are right there in the bar or guild than running back to my ship, taking off and then finding out. other than the easier control scheme it has no real purpose. then again you might as well buy it because all of your personal equipment, including the 5000, is so fuckin cheap
New ships are only bought when on display right? Then what is an Iris 1? Is it the ship's computer?
That's the scanners. The worst there is. Better scanners will colour code ships based on their faction or attitude towards you. And they will go from unknown to full target display quicker. And of course they will have a higher scanning range.
Whats a good weapon to try and kill everyone on a planet with?

We need someone to make a cheat quest using the quest thing to give a fair bit of money (I want to get familiar with the ships so i can plan which one to buy with honest earned cash)
RayvenQ, the best is the Semi automatic laser pistol that shoot three rounds at a time. It needs no ammo and is both cheap and dangerous. My strategy is to stay about 5 tiles away from my victim. Then shoot them in the torso, then in the eyes and chin the other two times.. Also, the shooting system in this game reminds me of V.A.T.S in Fallout 3 :fuckyou:
I realise that now, after shooting several people your aim gets even steadier, so much so that you can often peg them in the head, killing htem with the 3 shots you get unless they're armoured or you miss.
Whats a good weapon to try and kill everyone on a planet with?
Laser pistol or rifle.
You managed to trainer yourself money didn't you? if so i don't suppose you could do it again on the starting planet, and send me the save could you?
