This made me sad. Something like this being in development since 1994 from the developers of Eternal Darkness, probably one of the best horror games in existence, and it ended up being a mediocre title that everyone forgot about less than a year after it's release.
On the topic of unreleased titles, I think they should remake Starfox 2, even if it was technically unreleased. Mainly because they've proven they don't know what the hell they're doing with Starfox anymore. First sign of this was when they handed the series over to Rare, who in turn completely cocked it up by making a semi-decent Zelda clone with the worst kind of fanservice imaginable. Then Namco made Starfox Assault which was decent, but nothing really great. Then Starfox Command went ahead and made a pretty fun game bogged down by a hilarious melodramatic plot that was so bad even Nintendo has said that it isn't cannon. So remaking Starfox 2 seems to be the way to go.

It was made by the remaining part of westwood until EA cancelled it and a lot of them quit after it

I would still like a 2nd to be honest, wasn't as bad as people made out, sure not fantastic but not terrible either.

I read every update for this game and when I heard it was canceled I was so disappointed.

Holy shit I remember this, it was about the time Crysis was release or sometime before/after, but I remember thinking "Awww shit graphics are going to get so amazing in a few years, just look at this game it's amazing!" and I just now realized it was never released, now as awe-inducing now though but think 4 years back.

Y'know, we glorify these cancelled games but there's probably a very good reason a lot of them were shelves. Starcraft: Ghost probably didn't work that well in execution, I mean.. Blizzard don't just shelve games for no reason.
