fps cap maybe because of Vsync? Try turning it off. (If there is an option to turn it off..)

That did it! Now It's locked on 60 fps wich is alot better. I also notice that with vsync enabled everything seemed to have like half a second delay ? wtf?

There is a bunch of graffiti in game that says Turn of Vsync if I recall. That or some guy just photoshopped it in.

Vsync somehow messes up the mouse movement, with vsync on my mouse had a small delay like you say, with it off the sensitivity messes up and I can hardly aim at all. I fixed it by changing some settings via nvidia control panel though (geforce here) so it's all good.

Downloading Silent Hunter IV over steam as we speak.
Anyway, here are some screenies.
Men of War, while playing the DCG mod. I was holding the area in front of Utah Beach against 2 German armored divisions. With nothing but a mortar, 2 MGs, a howitzer, and 2 infantry squads.
The result: a whole bunch of dead German tanks.

The Panther and the Panzer IV that tried to flank my gun did barely any damage. I took out the Panzer easily, then a Stug came in and I had to knock that out, and while I was dealing with the Stug, the Panther shot my howitzer and damaged the gun. I repaired it and killed the Panther.
In the end I won, obviously, and pushed forward to gain a larger foothold in Normandy, I hit their armored division covering their retreat.

I salvaged that big howitzer and the Flak 18 from that battle, served me well.
Only thing I lost were 6 guys and a Sherman.

Yeah, Vsync always makes things react late for me as well, at least on my old computer. Just in general I always turn off vsync in any game that has it because it always just does bad things for me, never anything good.

I played SH4 once, I couldn't find any ships and I couldn't complete my objective for some odd reason.
I uninstalled SH4 in frustration and continued on playing SH3.

There's an easy way, and a hard way. The hard way involves a lot of Math including Speeds, directions of travel, and distance, The easy way is Lock on with periscope and wait for a triangle to turn green and fire, 50-50 chance of hitting at distance really
Yeah I watched some tutorial on how to do the manual aiming shit whatever, it doesn't teach me anything else though.
Well in the Periscope screen you have the Torpedo Bays on the right Lit up green, you click one, which selects that torp, and hit the fire button when you want to fire it. it turns red and stays red until a new Torp is loaded into the bay, that's basically it as far as firing them off goes
Yeah but there is a lot more to the game that just being able to fire torpedoes for no apparent reason
