Well, I'd suggest not doing equipment quests till level 20-25, or if you get quest award leveler
Why? Because awards are leveled
the shield from Chorrol is one of the best shields at it's max level (25) but horrible at lower levels.
I became a vampire, and it sucks. Mainly because i can't stay in the sun because [i]it burns![/i], even though the bonuses are cool, i hate it. So i did the quest for Vampire cure.
Now i need to find 5 grand soul gems. The only ones i have i've found them in bodies of dead daedra and such, i don't even have a grand soul gem with me. So where can i find more of these? No matter where, i could steal them or kill for them.

I have the Quest leveler. I restarted my game and Installed OOO. One big ass difference. It's a pain that it takes so long to level up though.

Oh man, I remember when I first played through Oblivion and got hit by a vampire. I spent like 5 hours doing that quest.

Yes, and then use the souls to enchant weapons, and create spells.
Oh god they are really expensive and what it seems, rare. I could only find one in Chorrol at 326 gold. But couldn't find anywhere else.
Anyone know where else to buy/find?

IIRC there should be a bunch in display cases in the mages guilds.. Steal that shizzle, you said you were willing to..
My security skillz are bad (48) and i have like 2 lockpicks left. Thanks for the info though, i saw them but didn't think they were "grand" soul gems. I'll get some more lockpicks and see what i can do.
If you are part of the mages guild you can sometimes open the cases without alerting them I think. Unless thats only for the lesser soul gems.

IIRC, you can get the Jewel of the Rumare in amulet form.
That's what I got. Fuck ring-switching. Of course, you could always just install an unlimited rings mod.

then you gotta switch it with Phylactery (sp?) of Litheness, which is really good if you have Quest Award Leveler.
of course, an unlimited rings mod sounds cool. I'd rather something like an 8-10 rings mod, to be a bit more realistic.
Well here's a couple mods you might want to try.

You need to have high acrobatics or athlete skills if i remember correctly.

up your speed and athletics skill a bit. you could become fast enough to fell one with a dagger.

I think it's something like block + sprint toggle + direction. I don't really remember very well, as I don't use that feature. That button combo may very well be the one for Fable, for all I know.
Sorry about the map overlay, it's a side effect of having F4 being your screenshot capture button which is also another way to open up your journal.

Hmm, I never found that useful, because it seems like I can never dodge anything, and the enemy just gets right back on me.
Rolling is hold block and press jump IIRC.
