Also what's this OOO I've been hearing about
Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul. Huge-ass mod, with features like:
-no level scaling: you won't be able to kill a hill giant at level 2.
-Revamped skill leveling
-buffed hand-to-hand skill: improved reach, better stamina damage (higher chance of knockdown), and more.
-Shitloads of new content from other mods
-a generally more immersive, feature-rich Oblivion experience.

I don't use any of that fancy shit like OBSE but get the Guard Overhaul mod, Feign Death mod, and the Hilarity mod.
Also beautiful people mod.
Are there any items in vanilla oblivion that emit a lot of light when dropped?
I need one to shed a little light upon my manor.

None that I know of. In some vanilla places you can find it torches that you can grab with z but the go out if you put them in your inventory.
You might be able to drop an equipped torch while lit...

There are illumination staffs. I've only ever found two, and they were in the same place, and they emit an od coloured light, but they exist.

Pretty sure they're only in OOO.
I'm playing an evil wizard, but I need to be much more powerful before I can actually do super-evil stuff. Right now I have to hold it down to murdering random villagers way out in the boonies (where there are no guards). My ultimate goal is to become an all-powerful Lich and wipe out Bravil, which I hate.

Im playing kinda the same thing. A good wizard who becomes super powerful corrupts and turns himself into a lich after that he kills people for fun and to practice necromancy.

Indeed, a singularly unpleasant spell. Not my video, by the way.

Nevermind I dont, raze it to the ground.
[sp]After I take Benarius's diary part and the downstair ghosts come[/sp] I always crash when I bind my dagger, and I can't kill them any other way. I could bind my dagger to kill the [sp]upstairs ghosts[/sp]
Should I reinstall Morrowind or Oblivion? I know Morrowind is miles ahead but I'm not really in the mood for its shitty combat system.
Oblivion + OOO. take your time and enjoy the experience as an RPG
Fixed it with Unofficial Oblivion Patch. I don't get it, Bethesda never tried to play as a Warlock Ranger?
(Also known as an assassin who also specialises in conjuration)
I am thinking about buying the GOTY edition for 20 bucks is it worth it?
The Night Mother remembers your sins.
Not anymore they dont.

Im might be getting Morrowind today. There are mods for the combat system.
-Snip-
Get oblivion for fun at the start of the game.
Get morrowind if you enjoy grinding before the fun.
I installed a shitload of mods today and everything is fine. Except BSA redirection. Qarl's textures and other mods don't work because of the me not being able to do BSA redirection. MOTY Steam. Anyone have trouble with it?
Tomorrow I am going to buy Rosenthal hall and all it's addons.
It'll make a perfect place to display all of my daedric artifacts!
.. Is this an DLC i havent noticed?
