I think I'm gonna get Francesco's Leveled Creatures-Items so if I level too fast I shouldn't be at a disadvantage
I have a wierd bug, most of my text is in english but random shit like certain weapon names and skills are in german. Is there any way to fix this? Fallout 3 has the same problem for me

It was some mod i think it was called WarCry or something... i just downloaded another version and everything was fine.
Holy shit, I just had my second most epic experience in Oblivion ever. I was traveling along the Gold Coast when I came upon an Alyeid ruin. Upon entering it, I found that it was both dark as hell and inhabited by a group of friendly bandits, who were intent on unlocking the secrets of the ruined Alyeid city I had just stumbled upon! Following the instructions of the head archaelogist of the party (and head necromancer :v:), I journeyed deep into the ruins of the flooded city, meeting ghosts, solving puzzles, and fighting zombies. You'd never see this shit in vanilla oblivion :dance:

Ive installed FCOM and all its subordinates, but when I encounter a large group of NPCS ( last time it was some rats) the lag stutter is like a slideshow, other than that its fine. When I travel accross the land also there's stutter but Ill assume thats the LOD stuff, additional enemies, and other tidbits associated with the mod(s). I've yet to run into a city yet but I dunno why the performance is crapping out. edit also : for some reason the 'skills' are in german. Is this francesscos? When I chose my class some text was in german, and when a skill is upgraded / trained, the text at the top is in german too. Is there a way to change this ? without startin a new game

Yeah, delete the one without the EV. EV sands for English Version, you're basically using both the english and german versions at the same time.
Can someone help me with something? For some reason my computer is either twitchy with Chorrol, or with the Dark Brotherhood quest where you "kill" Francois. As soon as I get out of the gate away from Hides-His-Heart, the game reports and error and CTD. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm running MMM, OOO, and all the Unoffical patches. Also running Reneer's Guard Overhaul, OBSE, Shivering Isles, and most of the DLC. I've updated it to the latest version, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just uninstalled and reinstalled the Unofficial Oblivion Patch and it fixed it right up.

Cheers, it fixed the german for me, still a bit peturbed by the stutter, what do the mods add EVERYWHERE to make it stutter so? Vanilla can run fine so its the mods making it funky, a conflict perhaps?
With DarnifiedUI, is there any way to access the current afflictions menu? All I have is the DarnUI settings in place of afflictions, and this has been bugging me for a while. [editline]01:31AM[/editline] ah fuck, someone's used that rating exploit to rate all new posts dumb with the ticker.
My performance is pretty shitty on the Shivering Isles, it's fine just wandering but if I get into combat outdoors with more than 1 enemy is gets really laggy. I might invest in some low poly grass mods or something.
Does anyone think they can help me out? I can't hear voices in-game. Like if I talk to somebody, if I walk by someone and they say something it's fine but when I talk to someone I can't hear them. Same problem in Fallout 3 but I dealt with it. I'm playing it vanilla, Google didn't come up with anything because everyone was using mods.

I removed increased spawns, but there's a some that still add a couple more enemies. but i'm just guessing, i'm not all that technical-minded. I also have quite a bit of mods, so who knows? This was formatted with BOSS, then click "mod checker" button at bottom of Wrye Bash to manually set whatever might possibly be out of place. I'm 135 hours into a Mystic Elf Thief-type (custom class), only finished thieves guild and haven't even started main quest...been taking awhile to get all the vampires required for the 'Light of Dawn'. After playing TES:O thru vanilla a few times and finally breaking down to get FCOM, I'm not sure i could ever play vanilla again.
I always use BOSS and it works perfectly, the only thing that I have to change manually is to put Deadly Reflexes as loading last.

Its just critters like rats and rabbits and that, even one can cause annoying stutter, a group even worse. its like theyre tapping into my PC's processing power ! How could I change MMM's settings?
