I'm attempting to install FCOM and I installed wyre bash, the launch wyre bash file is just a .PYW file that I can't do anything with. Any help?

Did you install the newest version of python? Wrye Bash only works on an older 2.5.2 version, check this link. [url]http://wrye.ufrealms.net/Wrye%20Bash.html#Installation[/url]
The wrye python link at the top has all the stuff Wrye Bash needs to work.
Anyone know if Redbag's Imperial City Pack will conflict with Thieves Arsenal? It looks good, but I don't want to give that up.
I installed OOO and some other mods and my sound is wonky. It sounds like I'm in a cave no matter where I am.
I can't even install OOO the installer is corrupt or some shit like that.

I decided to start playing Shivering Isles, and I just got to Bliss/Crucible, but theres a damage endurance affliction on me. What's the equivelent to praying at a chapel in Shivering Isles?

I just found out (After being 66 hours into the game) that "restore (skill/attribute)" spells/potions fix damaged skills/attributes.

That might be a disease. Try the "cure disease" potion.
Or you can just go to a chapel.

Why the fuck isn't there "no psychic guards" in the mods list? oblivion just wouldn't be the same without it for me.
Deadly reflex is fun, but because my character is weak and I use blunt weapons, I have only managed to get 3 critical hits so far.
Does anyone else freeze when they cast a light casting spell in the archeology guild?
I was getting freezes when I cast spells in certain places so im reinstalling oblivion and all my mods. My mods folder was messy anyways and had a bunch of mods that weren't being used and a few glitchy mods.

Agreed.
I think by this point I've sucked every single ounce of fun out of Oblivion (and I'm close to the same thing on Fallout 3...). Playing it, no matter what mods I get, is just a complete bore. Nothing's interesting, nothing's exciting. I only recently got Shivering Isles and was SUPER excited about actually seeing something new but I hadn't any characters at the time from uninstalling it before, so I never went through it.
Anything that could breathe some life back into this for me?

There is a chapel in SI
it's in the corner of each city and it links bliss and crucible, on the side opposite to the palace, just look around for it, you go there as part of a quest anyway I think.
OOO doesnt start getting fun until high levels... pisses me off..

It looks like it adds a sizable chunk of land, but I hate deserts so I'd like to see if anyone else recommend it before I download it. (More importantly, does it play well with OOO?)

Got it stuck in Applewatch (it's a Frost Titan by the way). Killed it using about 80 arrows and depleting my mana bar about 10-15 times. I'm level 3. It's hard to level up in this game.

It's not that bad, I found one 5x the size of that one at least, there were about 20 fighters guild guys fighting it and it killed all of them (and me after, because I thought it must have been close to dead, I was wrong)
The NPC's are funny. They didn't match up half the dialogues either so NPC's voices change hilariously.
And some dude was shouting at me to get out of his house then I activate him and he's all "Welcome to my humble abode!". Then he stabs me. Awesoem.
Yeah, the dialogue is great. I love when someone says a frightening rumor or something and they shout out "NO!" for no apparent reason.

On my magic character, I hadn't got too many spells that "even the playing field" (paralysis, drain strength etc) when it comes to powerful monsters, so I ended up running all the way from the Jerall Mountains (where I first aggro'd it) to somewhere around Cheydinhal, where I lost it by jumping into an Oblivion gate :v: It's still out there, somewhere, but since that character is now a level 25 Dread Lich, I think I could take him.
