FUCK! My new graphics card arrived today and I just installed it. I go look for my Oblivion CD, find it, look on the back for scratches, and lo and behold, there's a huge fucking dent in the cd. Is there any way to get it other than buy it again? I tried torrenting it but my router is being a faggot and won't let me in to port forward (this isn't warez, I own the game (proof below)). You're only allowed by the EULA to make your own private use backup, and only one copy is allowed per license. That said, no-one cares anyway, just download the fucking game somewhere.

The gel doesn't work well for this and just makes a mess.

So I decided to just not copy the modded version back over to this PC until I am done with the unmodded version. Just to avoid any possible conflicts. I am trying to see if I can run through the game completely naked and only using my fists to beat people's faces in. I am pretty much extremely fast at running, and really strong.

Will report back in about ten minutes. Applied the paste a minute or two ago. I'll clean it off at 9:05. Alright, I wiped the paste off with a bunch of cotton swabs covered in Rubbing Alcohol then dried it off with a rag. Testing to see if it even reads... Oblivion seemed to be better with this since it uses large files instead of multiple small ones, but we'll see.

Hey guys! This is probably the most stupid question, but here it goes. Is there anyway to get unofficial mods to work for the 360? I knew you couldn't a while ago, but i thought now that you can install games onto your xbox's harddrive, there might be some way to install unofficial mods.

This last install I got a crc check on the oblivion.esm and i just clicked ignore, it worked fine. Maybe cuz I patched afterwards though, but whatever.

Well, I've finished making a backup of the Oblivion disc. What I'm planning on doing is using the torrent I downloaded to install the data and use my original disc for DVD verification (e.g. having it in the drive to play). Hopefully it'll work. [b]Edit:[/b] Seems to be working great. My PSU isn't quite up to par so I can't run in full screen without it making Oblivion crash, and interestingly enough I can't change my desktop resolution for some reason. Irritating. Time to get Streamline and try for 1280x1024.

However, it still works for disc verification, and it seems to be doing that job quite nicely :) Anyways, installing the most recent update for Oblivion, getting low-poly grass, optimization mods etc.

A fun thing to do is to go around killing everyone with Duskfang.

Try deleting profile settings in mydocuments, I'm pretty sure the game stores application data there. If not try deleting your oblivion.ini DON'T FORGET to reset your computer after you install.

Restarted my computer and it started working great. I've just got a problem. Most of the default items (such as armor and gold coins, cups etc) show as gigantic yellow exclamation marks. This means that they're missing, but how the fuck would the default items go missing? I'm assuming it's some archive invalidation problem, but what the shit. Renault was invisible but her head and her sword, and there were walking exclamation marks. Weird. I'll fiddle around a little bit with it, but I gotta go to bed soon. High school >.<

Is any one annoyed that all armour are so radically different? I can't mix up the different armours without it looking weird.

I really dislike all the high end armor looking like shit, especially glass armor.
