The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Games

Nice, got 'em all downloaded and ready. Would you recommend that mod that makes everything viewable from a distance? ( as seen in general screenshot thread ) or this [url]http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=27500[/url] ?

Everytime I see this thread I get the urge to play again, then I reinstall and do the same god damn thing every time. Great game though, the only thing that bugs me about the engine is the lack of dynamic shadows.

Does anyone know a good open spot without enemy/friendly npc's? I prefer inside somehwere. I'm planning a huge NPC battle.

No , sorry. Maybe when I get a chance to play more. Anyway I tried out that mod that makes everything viewable from a distance. My FPS dropped to 15 due to it. Maybe when Nvidia comes out with the 3 series, and I get some more RAM I'll try it again.

Have you guys checked out the Ancient Towers mod? Definitely one of my favorite mods on Oblivion. It's got like fifteen rooms in it and a lot of pretty cool interactive stuff. Every time:(

Allthough I can get it for xmas :D So a question, would a Steam version of SI work with a retail oblivion disk? Or should I try to get SI retail? But would that require me to reinstall all mods etc?

So guys. There's this mod called "Darker Cyrodiil". It basically makes everything dark. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to exist, even though I've searched all over the internet. I've found Darker Imperial City, but that's about it.

I can't find it either, which sucks, I'm sick of looking at bright-happyland all the time.

Are they making a new one anytime soon? Because I loved this one. (Got to level 27 on my PS3 before it broke)

And Gamebryo games tend to have awesome mods. Basically I hope they fix it up a bit.
