How good is a 8500 GT compared to a radeon hd 2600 pro?
Shit shit and shit. [editline]03:10PM[/editline]
Okay, sure. But who'd be able to actually run the game? [editline]05:59PM[/editline] Other than people with computers like mine. :smug:
Not only that, but people would be bitching a lot about them using Cryengine.
I bought the game of the year edition a month ago, lets just say its still downloading.
I bought The TES GOTY Deluxe about 1 hour ago along with FO3 GOTY and a bunch of other games and at least the Bethesda ones are already done. I still got the Rockstar collection to download though <_<
Man , FCOM Convergence makes the game way more challenging. It also adds capes! :eng101:
Im going far in this file without any mods or cheats :smug:

To be honest I'm not really concerned about graphics, Bethesda has always had good graphics in their games at the time of release. I just want open cities back, along with guild transportation and paid public transportation.

So listen up! I was sleeping in the cloud ruler temple. Then a message displays that im a vampire:black101: Then I get the brother hood betrayed quest. "vampire hunter" :black101::black101:. And then I see the vampire hunter guy, about to talk to him, oblivion.exe has stopped responding. :black101::black101::black101:

Ohh and I don't die in the sun :smug:

Playing with FCOM and Unnecessary Violence, along with many various other mods. Great so far.
Unnecessary Violence just doesn't look natural.
And the throwing is terrible, which is the only reason I got that mod. I prefer Deadly Reflex.
Well, UV and DR are compatible, but yeah, UV doesn't have very good animations, and while the concepts behind it are good, and the features look very nice on paper, the overall mod experience isn't great. The throwing is nice, even if it's pretty broken for stealth. It also caused probably 80 percent of my crashes while using it.
I prefer not having any combat animation mods. [editline]01:08AM[/editline] Should I get the Depth of Field mod?
Ohh and the only save has none of my deadric weapons or shields. :black101::black101::black101::black101:
Ohh and the only save has none of my deadric weapons or shields. :black101::black101::black101::black101:
Deadric is for losers, anyway. I've got my fur gloves, I'm set :smugdog: [editline]01:06PM[/editline]
Should I get the Depth of Field mod?
Only if you think motion blur being present even when the camera isn't moving, then yes.
Pretty much all the motion blur/DoF mods are shite. The engine just can't do it.
Pretty much all the motion blur/DoF mods are shite. The engine just can't do it.
I disagree, I'm using a motion blur mod right now, and it's the same as any other game with it. I can't say the same about the DoF mod though. DoF never really appealed to me anyway; it just gets in the way more than it looks nice.
I disagree, I'm using a motion blur mod right now, and it's the same as any other game with it.
But have you tried Depth of Field?
But have you tried Depth of Field?
No, and I don't intend to. It just annoys me, since I don't have direct control over what to focus on. Just feels unnatural to me. Not to say it doesn't look good; I just don't want it active while I'm actually playing Oblivion.
I've tried the DoF mod. It isn't that good.
Just jacked a horse and rode to Anvil. Ain't never gonna pay for a horse again.
Just jacked a horse and rode to Anvil. Ain't never gonna pay for a horse again.
Motha fucka stole my horse
awww goddamnit, my oblivion flat-out refuses to work if I have any of the Deadly Reflex files activated. :frown: the new game button does literally nothing, and if i try to load a save game it instantly CTD's. motherfuuuuck :|
I didn't realise there was a megathread, I've been hanging around the custom forum. I'll repost my thread content here, and maybe get some replies: Have any of you done the Midas quests? I don't understand how I am meant to get to that island in the plane, and if I am meant to use ice walk, how do I get the astral beacon caps? I don't see any on the island I am on. Also, why are the ingredients so hard to come by? I can't get sigil stones because my character hasn't begun the main quest (and I don't particularly want to) so I can't get the essences. Do any of you use this mod? What's the easiest way to get spells (without cheating)? Also, I need reccommendations for magic mods - currently my mage has overly powerful summon spells, but my destruction spells (20 pts ice, 30 points shock etc.) are useless, so I never get to be part of the action. Do I need to make more powerful spells? Because if I create more powerful destruction spells, they are either outside my casting skill (Journeyman) or use too much magicka to be cast repeatedly.

Or just noclip over there.
Ah, thanks! Maybe I'll be able to do it now.
I have a short summary on what you do. I was born 15 years ago. For 10 years I've ruled as The Sewer's emperor, but for all these years, I've never been the ruler of my own dreams. I have seen the gates of a Vagina, beyond which no wanking eye may see. Behold, in darkness, a doom sweeps the land. This is the 27th of Fast Speed, the year of Fagatosh, 1887. These are the closing days of the cheese era, and the final hours of my life. Oh hello Bumrat, look at you - the imperials have locked you away HAHAHA! You have a wife back home yes? When I get out of here, I'll go and see her, you know... :smug: What's that sound? The guards are coming - For you! MUHAHAHA! Lock that door behind us Boris! Yes Ma'am. "YOU! YOU WERE THE ONE IN MY DREAMS! I'VE SEEN YOU!!!!" said Picard to you. You look back at him and say "Why aren't you on the USS Enterprise-D? He just looks deep down into your soul, you fall for this trick because you are so easy to be tricked because you are a bumrat. Anyway, after walking around some stinky kinky bondage dungeon, you find that the Sewer Emperor has given you his awesome Necklace, being the gypsy you are, you try to put the necklace on, but it falls off you because you're not the Emperor's son. "There is another hair to the phone!" Said Boris, who is trying to find the Necklace you stole from the Emperor. "Take it to Jauffre Star, the drag queen who lives in a Priory." So, being the bitch of Boris, you make your way out of the Sewer Kingdom and kill some Goblins who are preforming Martial Arts in caves. Then you see a fat Zombie and shout "NO ZOMBIE NO!" and you stab him and you are now looting the entrails from the Zombie because you're a Gypsy. You walk outside into the fresh cold out doors and you proceed to walk back to the large Towering Cock in the middle of the area. You are wearing some rusty armour you found lying about because you're a fucking scruffy git. Then you feel slightly peckish, so you eat some fucking Cheese that you found in the middle of a corpse pile in a fucking underground dungeon, yet it heals you and has no bad effect on you. So you are on a quest to find a Drag Queen. The Drag Queen Mr Star, tells you that the Emperor of the Sewer's was playing about in his younger years, and he had a son who convienently is based in a fucking over-run demon infested castle 8 miles down the road. So you have to go and fetch him, which involves getting mugged by Some Furries, hunted down by Wolves and then an Angry Guards Man orders you to Stop because you apparently violated the law. He gives you 2 options; pay the court a fine, or serve your sentance. But because you're a Gypsy, you are Anti-Social, so that means you beat the shit out of the guard and steal his horse. Now you have a bounty on your head and you've hardly done anything. You find The King's Son, Who is called Martin. And then you get hit on the head and find yourself in the basement of this church dress up in a Gimp suit with 7 dildos in various parts of your body. Then some demon gate explodes killing thousands and you are forced to escort Martin back to the Drag Queen's House. Then you go to some fucking freezing castle Up North where it's snowing, and then you get a sword. Then you enter the Town below the Castle and get side tracked with 60,000,000 side quests and totally forget about what you were originally meant to do until 7 years later when you're a member of every Guild and you've done a lot of things. Then some little Blonde Haired Elf comes up to you and goes "By Azura! By Azura! By Azura!" Then you kill him and get arrested and die of old age in prison.
I really need to play this some more. I have a nice weather mod on, it really does add to it a bit. I have no idea where the hell I am though, I'm in a forest or something, and there's Wolves all around me.
