Fuck yes! Some helpful soul from TESNexus pointed me towards a fix for Deadly Reflex!
If anyone else has problems with not being able to start new games or load games with DR running, search for Better Oblivion Software Sorting on TES Nexus and use that. Instantly fixed my problems :D

Also, I remembered, I have a question. You know those menu shortcut keys? In Fallout 3, you couldn't remap those and it was really annoying for me since I'm left-handed. Does Oblivion have the same problem?

As far as I know you can re-map controls.

Shit, I'm on a 4870 with a triple core 2.8ghz and I'm running it at max. And 4gb ram.

Because the engine is terrible. It runs like shit no matter what.
I notice the engine always goes to shit when there are one too many NPCs in one area. I hate this the most about the engine.
Actually, Oblivion can't really handle multiple cores, so yeah.
My Oblivion runs fine, and I don't lag unless I'm doing some huge process in the background.
