my game seemed to have an FPS boost after this.
Are you using the "everything viewable when distant" mod?
That sounds like a nice mod. Also, hello again seano12. Too bad I have a shitty gfx card.
Remember kids, don't OD on skooma or you will fly.

Hi
Yea I tried it, I went down to fifteen FPS. I'll try again when I get my 5850.
Anyway, does anyone have the Natural Environments mod? it's pissing me off on how the weather changes from sunny to overcast/rainy so fast and so often... and especially if I leave a building and all of a sudden it's raining when it was sunny 30 seconds ago.
Is there a fix or tweak for this?
Really? Its worked wonders for me.
I reinstalled Oblivion yesterday and I've spent a while tinkering with mods before I start playing properly. I've hit a bit of a roadblock with the "Beautiful People" mod, though. I downloaded it through the link in the OP, which I assume is the most recent version. I can't get it to work at all, even if it's the only mod being run. OBMM can't find any conflicts involving it, so I assume I've forgotten something extra that's needed.
At the moment, I only have OBMM and Wrye Bash. The game is patched to the most recent patch, as well as the unofficial one. DarnUI's also running, but if that's somehow affecting it I'd eat my own face out of disbelief. Is the solution hiding in plain sight, or is it just borked beyond all repair?

Repost from page 46 so people might see it on this page
So does anyone perhaps have the same problem I'm getting with Natural Environments?

I'm getting it on one of my saves, but not any other.
I've never noticed that oblivion has problems with multiple cores.
I run it on 4 cores without problems (Minus a few freezes)
And the NPC thing bugs me >.< I want giant fights.
Reinstalled oblivion, things are awesome again. My new character is a redguard warrior/thief that was of low birth (a commoner). He was facinated with war and became a mercenary at a young age. Over the years he became a reknown and powerful warrior. However, on one of his contracts something was amiss but he continued anyways. He ended up getting framed by his employer at the time for some unknown reason. He ended up in jail in the imperial city when the story of the game starts. I'm horrible at backstories, but I like roleplaying. I still need to get mods installed, otherwise I'll stop playing the game after half an hour.
reinstalled this again, being playing for nearly 40 hours with very few mods, havent even been to weynon priory yet
i'm a lvl 19 dark vampire wizard :smug: i'm insanely powerful
I love this game, i'll probably add a ton of mods after i finish with this character
I saw a couple of mudcrabs earlier. Nasty little creatures.
I saw a mudcrab the other day, nasy creatures.
Stop talking.
I ate a madcrub the other day, nasty creatures.
They say a Syndicate of wizards have led a boycott of imperial goods in the land of the altmer.
Heard any news from the other provinces?
Goodbye.
Farewell.
Oh, it's you. Hi
Yes, well, hello.
Flyyyin'... flyyin' in the skyyy... cliff racer flys so high... flyinnn'...

I understand the fighters guild is hiring new members. Not bad work for some folks.

Bye.
Take Care.
I was literally addicted to this game when it first came out!
I don't seem to fast travel to places that much anymore. Imo it's much more enjoyable to see the scenery while going somewhere, Takes longer though but that doesn't really matter that much.

And you get to level up a lot faster and sometimes find interesting and new places with some good loot :D
In the topic of Oblivion, I'm installing FCOM again now with my Steam GOTY version.
I'm looking forward to the release of the mods that are done of the other regions of Tamriel.
To be more specific, I'm waiting for Silgrad Tower 3.0 and for all of the major cities of the Elsweyr mod to be completed.
Has anyone played this mod? Someone did the province of Valenwood. It's in German. I'm hoping that it'll be translated into English.
