The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Games

Am I the only one who managed to install FCOM flawlessly the first time? I just read all of the readmes thoroughly over and over again through the entire time I was trying to install it.

I can deal with long installations if they're worth it, but FCOM takes fuckkiiiing looooooong to set up. I hope it's worth it.

[editline]02:59AM[/editline] OK, it has some issues (FFP does suck ass, I disabled it), but the throwing system is beyond awesome. I killed a beggar by sneaking up behind her and sending an iron dagger into the back of her skull. Also, this works really well with Deadly Reflex. I used the UV attack to knock out a raider from behind, then sleep-stabbed him while he was out. Good times!

I hope it's worth it.[/QUOTE] Meh, the longest step is downloading all the stuff. The actual installation of the stuff is relatively easy and error free if you follow the instructions.

I'm reinstalling Oblivion just for FCOM (fucking awesome) but I still remember the last time I played Oblivion: I had breezed through the main quest and was looting some dungeons until I entered one with these fucking traps. Oh god there were so many fucking traps the floor started squishing me on the ceiling and then spikes came out of them, tripwires huge fucking axes flying in my face. I shuddered, and quit the game. I was scared of those fucking traps forever.

Why is FCOM so awesome ? :smug:

Blarghfh for some reason the lighting on all NPCs looks like ass and I can't figure it out I'm gonna rape something [IMG]http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/kk156/om_nom_nom/03834c7d7099b2f65e5e4463e3b2ca9db77.jpg[/IMG] All settings maxed and I have an asston of mods but none would cause this (As far as I know)

If any of you are wondering FCOM does not take long to install and is definetly worth it, i can't imagine Oblivion without it. EDIT: Grei i think you have Self Shadows on.

Yeah i like them, sometimes they work ingame but when it's too bright that happens.

I pulled out this game again and started a new character last night. I haven't really been worrying about leveling, I'm just enjoying the game again with a few new mods and killing things in dungeons and doing quests.

I want to use UV, but the game crashes when I use the UV attack key. It doesn't do this when I hold down block and attack. Weird.

I just installed OOO and its fine and dandy and all but I can't unlock any of the chests in the first cave, they just glow purple... what does that mean?

It means you have detect life and are about to be eaten by a mimic.

You have to sneak and open them, i don't know why but that's the only way to open locked chests.

I didn't realise haskill had a voice until I just saw a video with him in it. It pisses me off, because I played through SI reading everything he had to say twice because the text passed by so fast. I thought it was something to do with him being a servant in the land of madness or whatever, that he was mental so he couldn't talk. And now I know it's just because my oblivion is SHIT with voices (a few random lines of voice, for example the guy who sells you the deepscorn hollow stuff's intro line) don't work, and once vicente valtieri had an imperial voice... but still his lines.

Also, is it just me or is TESNexus reeeaaaaally slow the now.

I heard FCOM still has tons of issues, is that true? Do any of you have issues or are they minimal?
