Ezio because Altair can't take baths without dying
To all the people saying 'Oh, Ezio took 10 years to find his targets", Altair was raised an Assassin, Ezio just became one when his father died. Also, Altair had everything handed to him on a plate, he just needed to find out when exactly to kill the person, whereas Ezio had to find them first.
Ezio is much better.
I think Ezio is way more awesome.

I found altair cooler, he had skills, where Ezio didn't.
although Ezio had a cape. And was a better climber.

I read all of it, really interesting stuff.
Ezio is a better character all-around, IMO. He has a more-developed backstory, more personality, and is a badass.

Ezio. Hilarious sense of humor, awesome accent, much better backstory. All around he is just a more likable character. He also looks much cooler in my opinion.

I like Altair, he can get shit done.
I never really felt badass killing people as Ezio because just a couple of hours ago he was a normal rich boy living a care free life.
Altair, aside from the shitty voice acting, was pure badass, and really felt like an assassin.

Altair was like a dog though, he killed people against his better judgement because some old paedo told him to.
Ezio was an assassin long before he was even initiated.
ACII was a better game but Altaïr was definitely more badass than Ezio.
I prefer AC2 but I like Altair more than Ezio.
