"Carry Science Foreward?" So one of the personality spheres has a potato farm, and named one of the potatoes "Science"?
I'd rather wait until they're officially confirmed.
What's there to wait for exactly?
Huh, so I guess this means the Achievements are on Microsoft's official server, only place I can see them getting them.
I'm super pumped to see whta the fuck "Lunacy" is.
Also, holy shit spoilers fucking everywhere.

Can't wait to start unlocking these
Ok, now I'm way too hyped. I have to preorder this.
Am I the only one who thinks that the part where he kills you achievement is when the blue co-op bot kills the orange one?
maybe you teleport the borealis to you in portal 2, and then you see gordon freeman doing something, supposing that gordan traveled thru time
Why is everyone assuming that the Borealis that might be in Portal 2 will be the Borealis after Gordon and Alyx have gone to it? If Aperture Science's Borealis ship is at Aperture Science, it actually seems more likely to me that it will take place before the Borealis 'disappears' and ends up wedged in a glacier.
Hell, maybe Chell accidentally launches/teleports/something the Borealis and sets the scene for Episode Three (which would be awesome). I expect Valve to blow my mind with a totally twisted surprise, however; my sound predictions on Valve game stories never turn out right. :v:

The reason we think it's after Episode 3 is because it takes place hundreds of years after Portal. No matter how you look at it, it takes place after Gordon's done with it.
The achievements look awesome (:
My speculation is ANOTHER PORTAL OVERLOAD. Except, now it goes in time, which is why you go to the Borealis. Ho ho!
Are there any bigger versions of the achievements?

Unless time works differently inside the facility, or someone could happen that affects the Borealis at certain points in time.
This is awesome.
Honestly? That seems really far-fetched.
The Borealis is in Aperture Science's facility, except stripped down so as to not spoil what's inside. The only things intact are the frame of the ship and the nameplate. Oh, and on the inside there is [sp] a briefcase pinned to the wall with a crowbar.[/sp] A guy can dream, right?
Honestly? That seems really far-fetched.
It's Aperture Science, they were crazy. Experiments with Time Travel seems like the sort of thing they would do.
The Borealis could always have a time machine on it. It could have been made, then sent forward through time to Portal 2's events which is how it disappeared. Maybe Chell sends it back in time in Portal 2 - only she can't do it well - and it ends up in the Arctic.
Maybe the Combine want it so much because of the time machine.

You may be on to something.

Not really because that would mean gordon could get to the borealis, go back in time and stop the events at BM and the story would be too simple to solve and it'd be shit.

Maybe it's really uncontrollable. The original disappearance could have propelled it to just before Portal 2, and then in Portal 2 you accidentally send it back to the events of HL2, where it is then found. Though this would mean that there is no chance of seeing anything Freeman related, you'd end up seeing the large amount of presumably dead scientists on board.

Wait, just re-read CrumbleShake's post and that's just about what he said. Never mind.

It disapeared with part of the dock, that suggests whatever they were doing was unpredictable.

wouldn't that mean that gordon would be on the ship and he meets chell?
Portrait of a lady. Announcer? Women Glados's AI is based off? OR JUST A LADY?
I can't wait for Portal 2. I'm totally hyped. I think I'll jizz my pants multiple times when I'll first touch the casing of Portal 2.
