$3 million!
Did anyone else get a gifted copy of Darksiders? I already owned the game but when I logged on this afternoon it popped up letting me know it was in my inventory so I sent it to a friend.
comparatively old games which are no longer selling. Its like paying full price for out of date food!
Full price??? The full value of this bundle is estimated at $190. So $15-$25 is quite reasonable.
Did anyone else get a gifted copy of Darksiders? I already owned the game but when I logged on this afternoon it popped up letting me know it was in my inventory so I sent it to a friend.
I didn't and I owned the game way before the bundle.
Any guesses as to what games they'll add assuming they do?
Possibly Titan Quest. I already own it so I sort of hope they don't, but IMO it's a Diablo clone that blows D3 out of the water. Wouldn't be a bad addition.
I paid $20 and gave it all to THQ. Fuck children in need, I want THQ to stick around.
THQ is basically children in need, don't feel bad.
Imagine if there was a small disclaimer, down at the bottom. [SUB]*All charity contributions go directly to THQ. Thank you for your understanding.[/SUB] And suddenly, all of $3mil is profit for THQ.
What's the possibility of them adding more games to the Beat The Average priced bundle? Darksiders 2 might show up.. what else?
Am I the only one that could care less about childsplay? I have a problem giving sick children money to get video games rather than to get better, sad that all these charities are focusing on it because "Oh video games, I can relate to that".
I doubt DS2 will show up. It's a pretty recent title and they didn't sell it well enough. It would probably do more damage than profit. I wouldn't mind Guerrilla or DoW2 showing up. Stalker could be very well be a possibility, it's an relatively old game now and it still is decent, even more so with some mods.
A good reason to pay above average is because THQ will go bankrupt if no one pays above average.
It's impossible that no one will pay above average unless everyone pays the same amount of money.
Am I the only one that could care less about childsplay? I have a problem giving sick children money to have fun and have something to pass the time rather than sitting in their bed all day, not moving because some of them have terminal cancer and shouldn't have fun at all, sad that I'm forced to give to a charity that gives video games to sick children because it's a charity that gives video games sick children and doesn't do anything else. It's not like I can choose to give my money to the Red Cross, THQ or the Humble Bundle itse-NOWJUStHOLDONASECOND!
ftfy
ftfy
It's not my choice where the majority of the money is given, personally I gave it all to Red Cross but I doubt the majority of people did the same.
Nope, that's really in the game.
The noise it makes is disturbing

For the more than average package is the SR steam key separate from the rest of the pack? I bought below average but now I want the above average so I might buy it again and give away the rest of the bundle I get.

I need to know which of these games is the best/which one I should install and play first. Opinions?
I'd go for Metro and Darksiders first, Company of Heroes is great when you can play it online with some pals. I used to play it with friends against the AI. It was great fun turtling up and forming a maginot line.
I need to know which of these games is the best/which one I should install and play first. Opinions?
Red Faction Armageddon is some of the most fun I've had this year
I mainly bought it for Metro 2033. I've heard good things about the other games, especially Red Faction. Saints Row is VERY goofy/over the top.
Really nice idea. Too bad I already have half those games and don't like RTS (CoH).

I used a visa gift card I had lying around to pay, and for some reason when Paypal handled the payment they viewed the cash on the card as USD, rather then Canadian. (Which is what it was.) Not a big deal, but kind of weird.
CoH is so damn fun with buddies, we boxed in the enemy and then we used calliopes on the base and all 3 of us had 2. Everything died.
