Volition can barely make their games run on PC. So I don't even want to imagine what kind of mess a Linux port of one of their games would be like.

Saints Row: The Third runs slow here even on minimun graphics and resolution :(. DirectX 9
My specs:
Nvidia GT 430
2gb RAM
Pentium(R) Dual-Core @ 2.6GHz
Even GTA IV runs better.
Any advice on running this game smoothly on minimum graphics and 1440x900 resolution?

I think your only option would be to lower the resolution, because those specs are not very good.

I lowered the resolution to the minimum, but it's still laggy :(
I thought this game had a better performance than gta iv.
I'll try to add 2gb, but i do believe my second slot is broken.

SR3 performs much much better than GTA IV, especially when you can utilize DX11, it sounds like a problem with your computer being pretty low end.
Yeah, SRIII has wonderful optimization, bar one or two effects (The DX11 effects for the UFO in flight mode kill your FPS, but that's about it.)

The problem isn't the money,as explained a thousands times on multiple threads by everyone,you need to have a international credit card,and need to link it to paypal.

It's no big deal man. I'll try to find another way to get it. :)
I know what my problem is. They didn't put draw distance in the display settings and it's not possible to change it with modding or editing conf files.
I hope they fix this, draw distance is always the problem for me.
